Not the tallest player on the court, but her ability to elevate and play above the net set her apart from her competition. A great player on both sides of the ball, she was a strong passer in the back row and took some big swings from behind the 10 foot line.
Presley Stokes Presley Stokes 5'10" | OH Wellsville | 2025 State OH – Outside / Mintonette Sports m.61
A smart player for this Mintonette team, hitting those sharp, thumb down, cross court shots to score when they needed her, but was also able to see the court and score with a fast throw to the corner. Stokes has a heavy swing that you can hear from a few courts away, very fun to watch.

A tall outside with a long reach, making it easy for her to play above the tape. She’s quick on the net with defense, helping out with her strong blocking and quick reaction to the tips and overpasses. She has great off blocker defense and is able to pick up anything near her, making her a go-to-player for Elevation ‘ last=”].
Annabelle Grooms – Right Side /AVC Cleveland 16 Red
A presence at the net, putting up some huge blocks and frustrating the opposition. She is quick, getting off the net to make herself available to take those powerful swings. Grooms is a key player for AVC and brings a lot of energy to the court which is key on those long rally points.
