Class of 2023 State Ranking Stock Risers – Vol 1

The upward movement of some of the top 200 players is something we are proud of.&nbsp; We have been watching the 2023 class very closely throughout the entire high school and new club season. &nbsp;A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles.&nbsp; We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects.&nbsp; The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up the rankings due to their individual performances.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='176642' first='Claire' last='Dewine']&nbsp;[2023] 6-1 Setter (HS: The Woodlands/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors']/Signed: Colgate)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Miss Dewine has made a HUGE jump in the State Rankings in this update.&nbsp; She is now currently listed as the 41^st best overall prospect and 7^th&nbsp;best setter in the state of Texas according to our State Rankings List.&nbsp; She is a phenomenal leader of The Woodlands high school volleyball program and plays club volleyball for [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'].&nbsp; The Colgate commit is going to do wonderful things for their program next year.&nbsp; We have watched her slice and dice opponents by moving the ball around to some wonderful hitters throughout her high school career.&nbsp; The beautiful aspect of how she plays is just how versatile she is on the court.&nbsp; Not many players can do literally everything on the court, but Miss Dewine can.&nbsp; She can also do it all at a very elite level.&nbsp; Just take a look at these stats from her high school career:&nbsp; 1,383 assists, 92 aces, 888digs, and 894 kills.&nbsp; That my friends is called versatility.&nbsp; This kind of production in every aspect of the game is the main reason why we have decided to move her up once again in the State Rankings.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on the honor of moving up the list of the state's best.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='195826' first='Molly' last='Tuozzo'][2023] 5-7 Libero (HS: The Woodlands/Club: Houston Skyline/Signed: Kentucky)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This young lady has made a huge jump in the rankings in this update.&nbsp; She went from being ranked as the 113^th to now the 62^nd best overall prospect and 7^th&nbsp;best libero prospect in the 2023 class in the entire state of Texas.&nbsp; She plays at The Woodlands High School and also club for the nationally recognized Houston Skyline program.&nbsp; In only three years she totaled 1,666 digs, 1,232 service receptions, 159 aces and even added 7 kills.&nbsp; Every publication that discusses volleyball has awarded her an accolade and it is due to her amazing performances throughout her career.&nbsp; The Kentucky commit will be an immediate impact player and shore up their ball control to compete in the SEC.&nbsp; When you watch her play, you will marvel at her range.&nbsp; She uses every bit of her being to explode toward the ball and make sure that it won't fall anywhere near her zone.&nbsp; Her tenacity on the court is contagious and I love how she keeps her head on a swivel to stay focused on the ball.&nbsp; Her defensive exploits should be watched by all young players who are learning how to play the libero position.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on moving up the prestigious state rankings.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='195832' first='Kayla' last='Lopez']&nbsp;[2023] 5-7 Outside (HS: Rouse/Club: Austin Juniors/Verbal: San Jose State)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Miss Lopez has made a very big jump in this update.&nbsp; Kayla is now currently listed as the 94^th&nbsp;best overall prospect according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays for Rouse High School and also for the nationally recognized Austin Juniors volleyball.&nbsp; We have written about her a few times this year and here is the latest from when we profiled her high school squad, “<em>She is one of the most widely underrated attackers in the entire nation in my opinion.&nbsp; She deserves a lot more praise than she gets as she is overlooked because of her height.&nbsp; She plays well above the net due to probably the best vertical I have ever seen.&nbsp; The way she rises up off of the ground can take your breath away as it is super explosive.&nbsp; Her height actually works in her favor because of the timing that it takes for opposing blockers to have in order to slow her down.&nbsp; The San Jose State commit is having another solid year for the Raiders as they look to continue their dominant ways in district.”</em>&nbsp; They had a fantastic season and Kayla was one of the main reasons why.&nbsp; She can do it all on the court and her leadership of having been there helped all of the young players.&nbsp; If you want statistical evidence of this young lady's dominance in every aspect of the game then check this out:&nbsp; 1,804 digs, 2,686 service receptions, 161 aces, and 1,436 kills.&nbsp; Could she be one of the most dynamic overall players in the state???
