Tuozzo had always been regarded as one of the top liberos in the Houston area, but she took her game to another level during her senior high school season with The Woodlands. It’s easy to feel how high her energy level is when she’s on the court while watching from the sidelines and she’s one of those liberos that will do whatever it takes to keep the ball off the floor. Tuozzo reads the game very well and is often capable of anticipating plays, but what makes of her a special defensive player is how quick and explosive she is when making plays on the backcourt.

Tuozzo is coming from a spectacular high school season with The Woodlands and her great form carried into club as she made several good plays at the Legends Classic #1. Her impressive ball control is the first thing that stands out in her game but Tuozzo does all the right things, such as moving quickly to the ball and placing her body in the right position to make sure her first contact is always clean and precise. She’s also a very good server.

Tuozo has emerged as one of the best liberos in the area in the last club season and carried her excellent form into the high school season, establishing herself as The Woodlands’ starting libero. Very skilled and reliable, she’s impressively consistent with her passing, which always finds the team’s setter, no matter what. Her excellent positioning sets her apart on defense and Tuozo is also a very good server. She also does a great job when she needs to set in transition.

If Lewis has been playing a key role for The Woodlands at the net, the very same can be said about Tuozzo when it comes to the backcourt. The team libero has been on fire at the start of the season, contributing with her reliable passing and very effective defense. Tuozzo benefits greatly from her ball control to play a pretty much error-free game and has registered 357 passes, 562 digs and 46 aces so far in the season.
