<p><strong>IOWA CITY, Iowa - </strong>We dug in with some <a href="https://prepdig.com/author/rob-howe-author/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">club team previews</a> before the New Year. Since then, the season tipped off. </p>

<p>I'll make it out to some events through the season and will be at regionals, but wanted to continue highlighting some teams in conjunction with in-person evaluations. </p>

<p>Let's take a look at Iowa Select 17 Mizuno today:</p>

<p><strong>Layla Streeter, '24, OH/MB, Durant - </strong>Streeter ranked second on the Wildcats with 157 kills as a junior this past fall. She also contributed 143 digs, 16.0 blocks and a team-best 40 aces. </p>

<p><strong>Kaiah Boudi, '24, DS, Moline - </strong>Boudi helped the Maroons capture conference and regional championships in '22. Their best season since '05 ended in the Sweet 16. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='200616' first='Georgia' last='Brunkan'], '24, DS/L, North Scott - </strong>The 5-3 Brunkan played a role in the Lady [program_tooltip program_id='431978' first='[program_tooltip program_id='431978' first='Lancers' last='']' last=''] reaching the state semifinals, where they dropped a five-setter to Clear Creak Amana. She chipped in with 112 digs, 19 assists and 18 aces. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='168197' first='Mia' last='Tubbs'], '24, MH, Clinton - </strong>The 6-foot-3 junior ranked second on the River Queens with 139 kills in '22. Her 25.0 blocks were the third most on the squad. She added 28 digs and eight assists. </p>

<p><strong>Chloe Baez, '24, MH/RS, Davenport North - </strong>Baez's 60 kills placed her third on the Wildcats. Her 19.0 blocks were the most on her team. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='261071' first='Hannah' last='Jansen'], '24, OH, Muscatine - </strong>Jensen hammered 192 kills in '22, the second most for the Muskies. Her 157 digs illustrated her well-rounded skill set. She added seven aces and 4.0 blocks. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='168198' first='Olivia' last='Cotton'], '24, OH, Pleasant Valley - </strong>As a sophomore, Cotton (5-9) played a role in the Spartans capturing the '21 state championship. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='206931' first='Kaci' last='Johnson'], '24, S/RS, North Scott - </strong>Like Brunkan, Johnson (5-7) helped the Lady [program_tooltip program_id='431978' first='[program_tooltip program_id='431978' first='Lancers' last='']' last=''] make it one match from the state final. She contributed 102 kills, 149 assists, 86 digs, 12.0 blocks and 25 aces. </p>

<p><strong>Addison Miller, '24, OH, Davenport North - </strong>The 5-foot-10 junior paced the Wildcats with 195 kills and 28 aces during the Fall. Her 139 digs ranked second on the squad. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='251630' first='Maggie' last='Johnson'], '24, OH/MB, Davenport Assumption - </strong>Johnson played a key role in helping the Knights capture a state championship in '22. The 5-10 junior ranked second on the team with 243 kills, adding 106 digs, 31.0 blocks and 30 aces. </p>
