Club Team Close-Up: MVP United 16 Red

Since then, the season tipped off.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I'll make it out to some events through the season and will be at regionals, but wanted to continue highlighting some teams in conjunction with in-person evaluations.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Let's take a look at MVP United 16 Red today:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Bailey Boeve, '26, MB/OH, Hinton - </strong>The Blackhawks reached the state championship match in '22 in large part because of Boeve's performance. She led her squad with 331 kills and 178.0 blocks. She added 158 digs and 31 aces. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kinslee Walrod, '26, S, Sioux City North - </strong>Walrod contributed to a successful season for the North Stars. The freshman produced 107 assists in 17 matches. She also chipped in with 44 digs, 5 kills and 4 aces. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Addie Kleis, '25, RS/S, S, North Sioux City (SD) Dakota Valley - </strong>As a sophomore in '22, Kleis hammered home 206 kills to go with 36.0 blocks and 50 digs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='215438' first='Maddy' last='Jackson'], '25, DS/OH, Sioux City East - </strong>Jackson appeared in 35 matches as a sophomore, starting seven of them. She produced 167 digs and 23 aces. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Ava Lloyd, '26, OH, Sioux City North - </strong>Another freshman who saw significant action for North during the '22 campaign, Lloyd led the team with 229 kills. She also posted 237 digs, 31 aces and 28.0 blocks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Ireland Jackson, '26, DS, Sioux City North - </strong>If you're sensing that the North Stars could make some noise the next few years, you're onto something. Jackson got her feet wet as a freshman, appearing in 10 varsity matches. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='217136' first='Maliyah' last='Hacker'], '25, OH/MB, Bishop Heelan - </strong>Hacker led the Crusaders with 316 kills as a sophomore in '22. She tied for second on the squad with 267 digs, and added 39.0 blocks and 34 aces. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='215439' first='Hollie' last='Peterson'], '25, S/RS, Sioux City East - </strong>Peterson stands out for her all-around game. As a sophomore in the Fall, she produced 323 assists, 172 digs, 35.0 blocks, 46 aces and 191 kills. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='215457' first='Jadyn' last='Hofmeyer'], '25, MB/RS, Unity Christian - </strong>Hofmeyer posted 159 kills, 85 digs, 22.0 blocks and 37 aces for the Knights as a sophomore in '22. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Claire Munch, '26, RS/OH,</strong> <strong>North Sioux City (SD) Dakota Valley -</strong> Munch enjoyed a tremendous freshman campaign in '22.
