This is a huge mash-up of North Texas teams and Lone Star Region Teams and should be a good recruiting opportunity because of the high levels of competition. This tournament has the top 3 pools set up as power pools, so be on the look out for some intense competition there. Below we have highlighted a few players that are on our must-watchlist for the 15’s age group.
Jayden Robinson Jayden Robinson 6'3" | OH Ridge Point | 2026 State TX / Houston Skyline 15 Royal
Houston Skyline 15 Royal will be in action this week at the Tour of Texas, they are in power pool 1. It will be our first chance to see outside hitter Jayden Robinson Jayden Robinson 6'3" | OH Ridge Point | 2026 State TX competing this club season. Jayden is on our must-watch list for her high-flying vertical and approach as well as her intensity on the court. She also maintains a level head while under pressure. Jayden’s height and length combined with her verticle make her lethal from all over the floor and from any hitting position.
Jaidyn Hartsfield Jaidyn Hartsfield 5'7" | S Mesquite Horn | 2026 State TX / Madfrogs 15 N Green
I have been keeping up with Jaidyn Hartsfield Jaidyn Hartsfield 5'7" | S Mesquite Horn | 2026 State TX throughout the high school season where she contributed to her varsity team. Jaidyn can really do it all, and she is a very well-rounded player with an extensive skill set. Her primary positions would be setter and outside hitter, both of which she executes very well. Her jump set and soft contact combine for a very nice set for her hitters. Setting is not where she stops athletically, she can also bounce balls from any hitting position. We have seen her fly above the block hitting from the outside and right side, but she also has a lethal back-row attack.
Natalie Kettler Natalie Kettler 6'0" | MB Tomball | 2026 TX / Woodlands Revolution
I first got familiar with Natalie Kettler Natalie Kettler 6'0" | MB Tomball | 2026 TX at stop 1 of the Top 250 Showcase in Houston. Natalie impressed me during hitting warm-ups with her ability to hit tough balls as a middle. During 6 on 6, she stood out in her ability to block and move laterally with the pace of the game which was very fast. The gap set is her favorite to run, and she executes that very well. I am excited to see her compete this weekend in this highly competitive event.
Julianna Hernandez Julianna Hernandez 5'6" | DS/L Frisco Memorial | 2026 State TX / TAV 15 Black
One of the top 2026 liberos in the state, Julianna Hernandez Julianna Hernandez 5'6" | DS/L Frisco Memorial | 2026 State TX will be in attendance this weekend. Her reaction time and fast footwork allow her to make incredible defensive plays. She isn’t afraid of a tough swing or a hard-to-get ball. She flies all over the court, trying to touch anything she can, and keeps her team in the game. Julianna is a fun player to watch because of her amazing defensive capabilities, and she should be on everyone’s must-watch list this weekend.
Shayne Zammiello / Alamo 15 Premier
Another incredible libero from the San Antonio area, Shayne Zammiello will be passing for Alamo 15 Premier this weekend. After finishing 3rd at Cross Court Classic, I am sure that Alamo 15 premier is ready to take the court again. Shayne is very versatile in her play. The outside hitter turned libero has a ton of volleyball IQ and knows where to be on defense. She plays a solid left back and middle back and will often switch seamlessly between the two mid-game.
Brylee Moore / Arete 15 Navy Telos
Brylee Moore is a new name to me, but after her performance last weekend, she is definitely on my watch list. She is very strong and has a good hand connection with the ball. She uses her wrist movement to place the ball when she swings, and she has a powerful swing. She gets a lot of points by tools off the block because of her strength and speed. Her team uses her in serve receive, and she does her job passing as well.
