Jayden’s advice to younger athletes chasing the same path:
“Always give 110% whether that’s in the gym and weight room! By doing that and doing extra gives you room to grow as an athlete and an individual. Sooner than later your time to be an all-American will come!”
Jayden’s voice on growth through the UA All-America experience:
“UA All-American program impacted my growth as an athlete by bringing all these future, past, and present teammates together to make one group of girls play one last time for their high school teams and club teams. Also impacted me to be surrounded by people like me (highly competitive).”

The senior outside hitter was easily Ridge Point’s best player on the court, contributing in several different areas of the game. Robinson tried as much as she could to carry her team to victory, but didn’t have much help and couldn’t have done more. She stepped up and got as involved as she could, covering a lot of ground in serve-receive and calling for the ball almost every time on offense. Robinson had a solid offensive performance, finding ways to put the ball down even when she was strongly defended by Seven Lakes’ big blockers.

A few days after returning from Indonesia, where she represented the U.S. at the U21 World Championship, Robinson delivered a strong performance and led Ridge Point to a sweep. The senior outside hitter was unstoppable offensively, and Cinco Ranch had no answers for her swings, be it from the left, where she got some impressive bounces, or the middle back position. Robinson had a strong defensive presence at the net, coming up with big blocks and sending the overpasses that went her way straight down with powerful swings. She also appeared well on the backcourt, not only producing digs, but also stepping up to handset in transition when her setter made the first contact. Robinson had a little struggle with her passing on set one, but quickly recovered from it and remained stable in serve-receive until the end.

Robinson will appear for the Houston Skyline 17 Royal team that will contend in the 17 Open division. An incredibly tall and athletic player, she should be one of the top offensive players in the entire event as not many others have her ability to score from anywhere on the court. Robinson makes great use of her contact point, but is also very intelligent with her shot selection and makes very few errors. She’s probably one of the top blockers to see the court in Salt Lake City and right side hitters going against her should think twice before swinging hard. Robinson has done a great job of developing other areas of her game, even playing some setter at high school, and has become an amazing all-around prospect.

. Robinson was unstoppable at the pin, using her length and firepower to put the ball down over and over again, not having to worry too much about the blockers who tried to stop her. As usual, she was also on fire at the net, producing several blocks, many of which were jaw-dropping. Robinson was also very reliable in serve-receive and contributed on defense, displaying great progress in that area of her game.

Robinson was one of the few Ridge Point players to be able to play at a solid level during the first two sets of the match. Her offense was steady and she also did a good job with her blocking, getting some stops at the net. When the Panthers had setting issues during the second set, she started operating as a setter when she was on the back row and, despite being called for a few doubles, her team’s offense flowed smoother with her in that role. Robinson’s offense improved again in the third and fourth sets, being a big factor in Ridge Point’s best moments in the match.

Robinson is one of the stars of the stacked Ridge Point team that is expected to dominate the district. She’s recently been with the USYNT and is one of the most exciting prospects in the country, combining physical, technical and mental skills in a way not many other players of her age do. Capable of playing on the right and the left, Robinson is an outstanding offensive player who gets off the floor well, makes contact with the ball at a very high point and is flawless with her decision-making. Her all-around game has been continuously growing since she first emerged and her blocking, in particular, is right up there with the best in the state.
