Continuing our preview of this weekend's two-day tourney in Louisville, we have a couple of Indiana-based teams that have players that need a little more love. Although there are players on each squad that have already committed to play, this just gives a bigger spotlight to those that are looking for a home for the fall of '24.

At 1400 hours on Saturday, this elite squad takes the floor with a ton of kids already committed to play somewhere. [player_tooltip player_id='110523' first='Allie' last='Shondell'] ('24, 5-10 S, Purdue commit) runs the show at a high and fast level. [player_tooltip player_id='330263' first='Riley' last='Resmer'] ('24, 6-1 MB, Harvard commit) is as athletic as she is smart. [player_tooltip player_id='110490' first='Taylor' last='Lewis'] ('24, 6-1 OH, Villanova commit) can play multiple positions and terminates at such a high attack point. [player_tooltip player_id='110506' first='Sienna' last='Foster'] ('24, 5-10 DS/L, Purdue commit) adds to the long line of elite defenders going to Purdue. But what about the kids that don't have a place to play yet? For size, look no further than two-sport star [player_tooltip player_id='240161' first='Alayna' last='Christner'] ('24, 6-2 RS/MB, jersey #1). She's a lefty that is defensively one of the toughest to go against. Yes, I said lefty that can play in the middle. A unique offensive issues for opponents as well. She blocks bigger than she looks and can put balls away regularly. [player_tooltip player_id='171344' first='Aesha' last='Vogt'] ('24, 5-8 DS/L, jersey #17) could be a libero on any other squad, and her defense is just as consistent as her serve receive. She's straight from the John Shondell school of defense, so you know she can pass anything.

Of the Indiana-based kids on this roster (about half hail from Kentucky), none have committed to a school as of this writing. There are plenty of options to choose from, starting with [player_tooltip player_id='143807' first='Makenzie' last='Wagner'] ('24, 5-10 RS, jersey #8). She's a lefty banger that can hit any shot from any spot on the floor, and defends her position at an above-average level. [player_tooltip player_id='240162' first='Lilly' last='Kaiser'] ('24, 5-9 MB/OH, jersey #5) is an athletic multi positional talent that has a high volleyball IQ. [player_tooltip player_id='210180' first='Lilly' last='Tappel'] ('24, 5-10 OH/DS, jersey #2) is a primary-passing, six-rotation outside that is all about control, whether it's a smart attack or being calm in serve receive and floor defense. [player_tooltip player_id='143805' first='Ellie' last='Priddy'] ('24, 5-11 OH, jersey #9) is the clear size on this roster, and can terminate from either pin at will.
