[player_tooltip player_id='85923' first='Delaney' last='Seaman'], 5-10 S, Munciana

A member of the Samurai, Miss Seaman comes from a long line of setters in her family. The best part of Delaney is that she's done some attacking, too. So, is she a right side that sets, or a setter that can attack? Why not both? A modified 6-2 would suit her well, where she can attack from the front row and set when she's in the back. I'm sure there are other combinations she can be used for, but in the grand scheme of things, she can do both, so why not feature both?

[player_tooltip player_id='155090' first='Lexa' last='Zimmerman'], 5-9 DS/L, Empowered

A highly-skilled, long and lean libero is what you get from Lexa. She's relentless in pursuit on defense, does the dirty work that others won't, and can serve receive among the best. I've seen her play as both the libero and a three-rotation defender, and the attitude and work ethic never changes. Everyone needs a solid passer and defender at all collegiate levels. Why not take a chance on an established one?

[player_tooltip player_id='99585' first='Monica' last='Jones'], 5-8 S, Rev

Quiet and unassuming, Monica gets the job done, period. She locates the ball well, uses her quick feet to get to every ball, and makes out-of-system passing look in-system. I like her no-nonsense approach---she leads by example in an age where self-promotion and talking are all the rage among this age group.

[player_tooltip player_id='109514' first='Emily' last='Kirkendol'], 5-4 DS/L, Academy

From a long line of defenders in her family, Emily is cut from the same cloth---solid in serve receive, relentless in defense, and tough from behind the baseline. She's a gym rat, through and through, and her constant effort in improvement is apparent. Two years ago, I didn't think she was capable of having the maturity of wearing the special jersey. Once again, I love being wrong.

[player_tooltip player_id='85912' first='Macy' last='Bruton'], 5-10 DS/OH, Circle City

Currently a three-rotation DS for the top team at Circle, Macy knows nothing but winning at both the high school and club levels. The best part is how fresh she is. She's a full-time, six-rotation outside that has set numerous attacking records at Crawfordsville High School, and has honed her ball control at the club level for years. If you need an attacker who can pass, Macy's your girl. If you need a taller-than-average defender who can attack in a pinch, her arm is live and healthy. So, what's wrong with having both in the same person? At this stage, anything she could do for a college program would be a bonus, as this is a two-for-one.
