SubscribeWe are so pumped to renew our partnership with USA Volleyball. We were super excited to run our Sunshine Classic Showcase in conjunction with the Sunshine Classic National Qualifier in Orlando, FL on Friday, February 24th. We had some of the best players from many states attend. Many players stood out to our court coaches and scouts throughout the entire showcase for a variety of reasons. Some players stood out for their dynamic physical skills and some stood out for intangibles like leadership, effort and attitude. Let’s meet a few of the players who earned the honor of Top Performer at the Sunshine Showcase.

[2026] 5-11 Setter/Right Side (HS: McAllen/Club: Texas Fierce Elite/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Katelyn is currently ranked as the 56th best overall prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for McAllen High School and also plays club for the Texas Fierce Elite program. I was first introduced to Miss Pritchard at the first tournament of this season in San Antonio and was amazed at her athleticism and strength in every aspect of the game. It has been a few months and she has been in the lab cooking it seems because she looked even better at the showcase this weekend. Every coach at the showcased was super impressed with her ability to get to every ball that she had to track down in drills and scrimmage situations. Not only was she able to get her feet set, but she jump sets almost every ball, which is amazing. With her size and jumping ability, the opposing middles must honor her jump and it makes them a tad late on their blocks or they are non-existent on their blocks to the pins when she delivers it. She gives her hitters so many splits or one on one attacks with it. Did I mention she can hit also? Katelyn’s attacking skill set is at an elite level, which will translate to many college offers in a few years. Having a setter who can run an offense like she can AND attack is a coach’s dream. When you watch the ball come out of her hands so smoothly to every location along the net will have you fall in love with her setting ability. I strongly suggest all college coaches to watch her now so you will not get left off of that train that has already taken off!

[2026] 5-8 Outside (HS: Plano East/Club: 1United/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Sloan is an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on our watch list now with what I saw at the showcase. She plays at Plano East High School and also the newly formed 1United volleyball club. Miss Reed was picked as a top performer by a few coaches at the showcase for a couple of different reasons. We loved what we saw in the individual positional drills as she was super aggressive and moved the ball around the court really well to score. She was super coachable and very positive to her fellow drillers. In the scrimmage portion, her court coaches mentioned that she was very energetic and gave her all every rally. When top talent comes together under one roof, it is sometimes difficult to get athletes to play to their potential, but Sloan was up for the challenge and showed out! She scored in a variety of ways when the ball came her way and she battled hard for every tight ball against her opponent. She has the frame and volleyball IQ to be listed in our rankings soon. We are going to keep our eye on her closely.
Adriana Jeanpierre

Beachside | 2026
FL
[2026] 5-8 Setter/Outside (HS: Beachside/Club: OTVA/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Adriana is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Florida State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She should have no problem being listed with what I saw in person. She is a superb combo player who plays at Beachside High School and also plays club for OTVA. The one word that I can use to describe what I saw on Friday night at the showcase from Adriana is DYNAMIC. Every coach and every spectator was put on notice…Jeanpierre is for real. She is hiding some high-powered springs somewhere in her lower body because this kid has major hops. Not only did she jump very well, but she absolutely destroyed the ball with authority many times and it had myself and other coaches jumping with joy. Her lightning quick arm swing was on full display as she rained fire on the other side of the court over and over with kills that felt like they were worth multiple points. I just kept asking myself “where did this come from?” She was definitely blessed with amazing abilities and we are so glad that we saw them so we could share with the volleyball world. Oh yeah she has gifted hands also. Check this youngster out and you will not be disappointed.
