I have had a ton of fun watching the class of 2025 dominate the first month of the club season. I started covering Illinois in January of this year, and it has impressed me every time I have watched them play. Though I am new to providing consistent coverage for Illinois, I have been a Wisconsin scout for five years.
I saw many athletes across the midwest at the Winter Classic, covered the Central Zone Invite virtually, and have been keeping up on highlights from the Windy City Power League. I still have so much to learn and can’t wait to continue providing articles, rankings updates, and social media coverage.
What does a watchlist mean?
This is the start of future rankings. Athletes on the watch list can be tagged on our site when we write articles about them. It is by no means final or comprehensive. These athletes have caught our eye at events and throughout their freshman and sophomore high school careers. This watchlist has over 100 talented and hard-working athletes, with so many more for me to see and cover.
What if I need to change my information?
You can claim your profile on our website and change or add information. You can also update it over time if you want to add highlight videos or a college commitment or change your profile picture, club, or any other information. You can claim your profile at the link in the next section.
What if athletes were missed?
It is very possible athletes were missed. We will continue providing coverage, getting out in the gym, and adding to our list. This list will continue growing and will eventually be a full ranking. If you were missed, you could do several things.
The first is to create a profile on our Prospect Index: https://prepdig.com/prospect-index/claim-your-profile/
While this does not guarantee coverage, it s a great way to get on our radar.
Additionally, you can follow Prep Dig Scouts on Twitter and social media. We are constantly looking at highlights of athletes and keeping up with teams on social media.
What comes next?
What comes next is we get back in the gym, continue building our list and rankings, and get athletes as much coverage as we can. My next stop is the President’s Day Classic in Saint Louis.
