The NIT is where every elite program wants to be to see how they match up against the best in the country. Below we will highlight 10 players from the 15’s age division who are set to dominant.
Jaylyn Tuiasosopo /// Alamo 15 Premier
One of Central Texas’s best blockers Jaylyn Tuiasosopo should be on everyone’s watch list at Triple Crown. The very versatile middle blocker can put the ball away at the pin as well. She has a strong arm and a high volleyball IQ. She is a part of a very good Alamo 15 team and she adds offense as well as impeccable defense from the blocking side.
Christa Wilburn /// Austin Skyline 15 Royal
Big-time playmaker Christa Wilburn just had herself a weekend after grabbing 16 kills in the championship game at the ATX showcase. The 6’1 outside hitter has been on fire so far this season. Her aggressive swings on tough sets are what have been setting her apart. She can go up and crush a set in system, beating blocks and destroying splits. She is definitely on the watchlist after her performance over the weekend.
Keoni Williams /// Dallas Skyline 15 Royal
One of the best blockers in North Texas, 6’4 middle Keoni Williams will be on everyone’s watchlist as Dallas Skyline looks to do very well at Triple Crown. She was dominant in the earlier age divisions with her height and size, she was a formidable force. After playing varsity for Boswell this year, she has emerged as an aggressive middle and was a leader in the MaxPreps blocking category for a while. It will be fun to see Keoni’s size match up with the big hitters of 15 open.
Brooke Lacewell Brooke Lacewell 6'0" | RS Boswell | 2026 State TX /// Drive Nation 15 Red
Super heavy hitter Brooke Lacewell Brooke Lacewell 6'0" | RS Boswell | 2026 State TX should be on everyone’s must-watch list. The 6’0 pin hitter has a lot of snap on her ball and puts some serious punch behind her swing. Her height paired with her strong swing make for a really tough time for opposing defenses. Brooke is turning out to be one of the elite pin hitters of her age division.
Sarah Hickman Sarah Hickman 6'3" | RS Stratford | 2026 State TX /// HJV 15 Elite
Right side Sarah Hickman Sarah Hickman 6'3" | RS Stratford | 2026 State TX will be on our short watch list for Triple Crown. She has emerged as one of the premier right sides in the state. The 6’3 lefty put in a lot of work this last year to really be an offensive force and use her height to her advantage. Her offense has come a lot way, and each week she is getting more powerful with her swings.
Halle Thompson /// Houston Skyline 15 Royal
Dominant 6 rotation outside hitter Halle Thompson will be a fun one to watch. After having a huge breakout varsity season with Grand Oaks, the 6’1 outside is ready to make a big impression in the club world. She has everything you are looking for in an outside, length, speed, aggressiveness, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to make the play.
Blair Thiebaud /// Houston Skyline 15 Royal
Another Houston Skyline player Blair Thiebaud is a setter from College Station, Texas. She makes this shortlist for her incredible volleyball IQ and ability to make really tough plays. She has charisma with her hitters and makes great plays on tight balls, always mixing it up. She has several variations of the setter dump that are all very effective which is really fun to watch.
Gabi Rodriguez /// Madfrog 15 N Green
Super fiesty libero Gabi Rodriguez is super fun to watch because of her ability to keep the ball off the floor. She has a lot of range out of the middle back as well, moving in between blockers and open net to try to touch as many balls as she can.
Brooklyn Bailey Brooklyn Bailey 6'0" | MB Highland Park | 2026 State TX /// TAV 15 Black
The first word that comes to mind when I think of Brooklyn Baily is length. She only stands at 6’0, but she seems so much taller with her incredible wing span and block touch. She easily has her armpits over the net when she blocks, and does a really good job transitioning to hit, and her setter does a nice job of setting her up for success.

Ultra-competitive outside Hitter Hailey Lotspeich Hailey Lotspeich 5'6" | OH Grand Oaks | 2026 State TX makes the shortlist for her outright aggressiveness and go-get-it attitude. When you watch her play, you can quickly tell that she is a leader on the team and wants to be involved in every play. She has speed and a nice vertical that help her overcome some height barriers. She can take on any size block with ease and can rack up kills quickly.
