Here is the first of multiple scouting reports from the Power League action in Bel Aire.

[player_tooltip player_id='222085' first='Julia' last='Anisimova'], 5'9”, L, Shawnee Mission Northwest, ‘26

Pohaku is blessed with a tall and athletic Libero. She has a strong accurate serve and served on 16 straight points to open the second set. The Shawnee Mission Northwest product had six service aces during that run. Ansimova finished with five serve receptions and three digs. She is primarily interested in playing beach volleyball at the collegiate level.

[player_tooltip player_id='222092' first='Willow' last='Weninger'], 6'0”, RS Blue Valley Southwest, ‘26

If Weninger played football she would play middle linebacker. The Blue Valley Southwest product is a strong, tall, physical athlete with strong upper body strength. She had six kills, three digs, and one serve reception in the win over Shockwave. If she grows a couple more inches her stock would rise even higher.

[player_tooltip player_id='472938' first='Hailie' last='Vaughn'], OH, 5'11”, Blue Valley Southwest, ‘26

Vaughn is just a quality all-around athlete. She is quick and can jump. She had six kills in the early Saturday match. Keep an eye on this talented young lady.

Three other players to remember were Olathe South's [player_tooltip player_id='344606' first='Kennedy' last='Derks'], Olathe Northwest's [player_tooltip player_id='222088' first='Elena' last='Dougherty'], and St. Thomas Aquinas' [player_tooltip player_id='222089' first='Grace' last='Martin'].
