It is not uncommon to see some jockeying in our rankings updates over a three or four-year span. This is my third year with this bunch and this time is no different, as we have seen some players move on up after their outstanding high school and club seasons. Let's see who made the most "dramatic" jumps in these rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='122207' first='Maliyah' last='Johnson'] - OH - Hutchinson - 22 > 13

Johnson moved up year after year after an outstanding high school career. She earned a spot on the all-state team for her class after helping lead her team to a trip to the state tournament. She had 383 kills in her final season for the Salthawks. She was good defensively also with 297 digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='122210' first='Maddie' last='Schrandt'] - OH - Andale - 26 > 17

Andale had a season to remember dominating the regular season before ending with a state runner-up in 2022. Schrandt saw her kill numbers jump from 205 to 310 this past fall. She had moments in which she was in a zone and able to take over a contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='152162' first='Connelly' last='Kilgore'] - OH - Blue Valley - 39 > 31

In 2021, Kilgore saw action in 7 sets. In 2022 she was key in Blue Valley's run towards a state title where they just came up short. On the pin, she had just under 200 kills for a balanced offensive attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='152174' first='Allie' last='Kennedy'] - MB - Louisburg - 46 > 34

72 kills as a junior. 304 as a senior. Kennedy was a dominant force in the middle for Louisburg. She showed she can power through a double block or tip to open spots on the floor. Her play elevated in 2022.

[player_tooltip player_id='122209' first='Addy' last='Holthaus'] - OH - Nemaha Central - 72 > 44

Kills went up for Holthaus in her last season, and her errors went down which shows evidence of growth as a pin hitter. She finished her career with consecutive 300-kill seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='152180' first='Ally' last='Larkin'] - DS/L - Bishop Carroll - 59 > 46

We've known Larkin to be a stellar defender but she showed her versatility this year as one of the kill leaders for Bishop Carroll. The Missouri State sand recruit had 213 kills and 292 digs in her final season.

[player_tooltip player_id='122213' first='Lindsey' last='Cure'] - MB - Goodland - 73 > 52

The middle extraordinaire, Cure caused a lot of pain to opponents as seen by her ranking jump. She delivered over 300 kills and 100 blocks to earn all-state honors.
