Continue ReadingNews names and faces always emerge over the course of the year. This time is no different as we have players make an appearance in our latest edition of 2025 rankings for the state of Kansas. Here are the players we introduce as the highest-ranked new prospects in the rankings.
There are some players you see from “smaller” schools in which you have to decide how high you rank them. There is good volleyball all over the state but the top players typically come from the bigger classes. Behnke had a good sophomore campaign with over 200 kills. However, it was her play against a very talented bunch at the Prep Dig 250 that put her in our rankings and with high regards at 14. She can play in the middle and on the pin and is effective both offensively and defensively.

Myers enters the ranking at 15 after not only a good sophomore season at Blue Valley West that saw her with 257 kills and 60 blocks, she has been even better this winter for her club team. She is quick off the floor and very strong in front of the setter.

The 26th position is held currently by Sydney Baumfalk Sydney Baumfalk 5’9″ | OH Olathe East | 2025 State KS , the pin from Olathe East. After playing sparingly as a freshman, she emerged in year two with 160 kills.

This is one our potential rankings right here, meaning the upside is high for Dawson and she comes in at 31. She is long and athletic and still growing in the sport and should be an appealing prospect for years to come at 6 feet. She has quick arm action and another player who can get up off the ground at high levels.

Jackson is another player is has great upside and won’t be surprised to see her move up from the 32nd spot she’s currently holding. She is another player who made most of the Prep Dig 250 showcase and had a standout day. She currently plays for PVA ‘ last=”] 16 Elite.

Rounding out the new face at 65 is the defender for Blue Valley Southwest and Dynasty . She was good defensively last fall with over 200 digs on the varsity level.
