2023 Rankings – Final Additions

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We've been at this for a while now and it's time for the Class of 2023's final update. We've had a number of players on our Watch List that moved their way into the rankings. Let's take a look at a few making their way onto the rankings</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='274255' first='Quinlynn' last='Parish'] jumped onto our rankings at #79 after making her commitment to play at Division 2 Southern New Hampshire. She is a feisty outside hitter that played for Northfield and is currently on M1's 18-2 team. Another big swing broke into the rankings at #89 after making her commitment to play at NAIA Dordt. [player_tooltip player_id='273293' first='Ellie' last='Weg'] is a 6'1 middle blocker has a real nose for the ball as a blocker and adjusts to the set no matter where she is swinging on the net. High School and Club teammate [player_tooltip player_id='273294' first='Tarren' last='Spartz'] joined the party right along with Weg which is really fitting considering those two put up a pretty intimidating block when they are in the front row together. This is quite the inseparable pair because Spartz will also be attending Dordt to play volleyball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Parish's club teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='274256' first='Emily' last='Soukup'], found an opening at #92. This 5'11 middle blocker played for Faribault and will continue her volleyball career in the NAIA arena at Waldorf in Iowa. Northern Lights 18-Black has a defensive specialist/outside hitter, [player_tooltip player_id='273668' first='Alese' last='Klempke'], from Shakopee that hasn't committed yet. She is 5'8 and actually takes a really nice swing out of the backrow, sets up a smart block, and sees the court across the net really well in order to know where to place the ball. As an outside she does a great job working around the block and using the hands of the blockers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>M1 has another great player that found their way into the rankings at #109. [player_tooltip player_id='274252' first='Anna' last='Lervick'] is a versatile and all-around athlete that committed to play at Division 3 DePauw. She has solid fundamentals and I was having flashbacks while watching her swing down the line on the right side when not setting. That was always my favorite spot to get a kill. MN Select's 18-3s provides us with #110 and Carthage volleyball commit, [player_tooltip player_id='273773' first='Abigail' last='Trcka']. She is a 5'10 middle from St. Paul Central that does a great job tracking the ball from pin to pin and putting pressure on the attackers. Trcka also takes a really nice swing around the block and will work the ball of the hands.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Our next new name comes from [program_tooltip program_id='428866' first='Vital' last='']'s 18-1 Gold team. [player_tooltip player_id='274257' first='Makina' last='Larson'] breaks into the rankings at #112 as a 6'1 middle blocker from Chaska and she will be playing for UW-Eau Claire in the fall. Right behind Larson, Trcka's club teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='274258' first='Ingrid' last='Noha'] entered the rankings. Noha is a 5'10 right side hitter that will be competing at Division 3 College of Saint Benedict in the fall.
