Athletes From Last Week That Deserve Another Look

<p>After a hectic month of volleyball, we have identified six athletes that deserve a second look after their performances recently.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='254298' first='Sawyer' last='Arbuckle'] - UEPA 16 Diamond </h2>   <p>As an available 2024, [player_tooltip player_id='254298' first='Sawyer' last='Arbuckle'] is definitely one to snatch up before it's too late. She just qualified with her team in NEQ in the 16 Liberty division over the weekend. Sawyer is a strong middle blocker that packs a punch at the net. She has a heavy arm and doesn't hold back when it's a perfect set. She is known to bounce balls and bring a lot of energy and fire to her team. She deserves a second look because of the progress she has made and is continuing to make. She has the 6'1 frame that is any coach's dream when looking for a setter with height. Her hands are coming along nicely and she is gaining the IQ portion every time she steps on the floor. She really showed out at LSC helping her team to a great record of 5-2. Height, speed, athleticism, verticle, intensity, it is all there. Being a multi-sport athlete has allowed Kera to develop a wide set of skills that are transferable to the volleyball court. She has a great snap on the ball and looks just as good hitting from the right side as well. Her explosion off the floor is something you must see as well as her blocking with her hands well extended over the net. She knows how to terminate when it matters and plays with a lot of intensity. She is the type of player to make things happen and not wait around. She has excellent ball control and is a great 6-rotation player. This girl can play, and I don't mean just set. She has an entire toolbag of skills she brings to the table from setting and attacking to lockdown defense. Carly has shown she belongs in the conversation with elite players in Central Texas. She has excellent ball tracking and is able to get in on the offense from anywhere on the court. Her transition footwork is disciplined which allows her to get so many attempts. She has a fast arm swing which allows her to be successful in the stat column. She brings a ton of energy and is a definitely momentum-shift player.
