The lone team from the Hoosier Region participating in Open is the flagship squad from Circle City. There are SO many kids that have come so far from relative obscurity just a couple of years ago. [player_tooltip player_id='106295' first='Ella' last='Chapman'] ('23, 6-3 MB, Florida Gulf Coast signee) has changed from a remote 3A multi-sport big kid to full-on Division I middle in a matter of moments, it feels like. [player_tooltip player_id='85932' first='Ava' last='Smith'] ('23, 6-0 OH, Florida Gulf Coast signee) was a spindly springer at Park Tudor that could hit, but is now the highest jumper on the roster and joins her club teammate to go south for coach Matt Botsford, who has Indiana ties of his own. A pair of state champs are on this roster as well. [player_tooltip player_id='93482' first='Avery' last='Hobson'] ('23, 6-1 OH, Duquesne signee) is the thumping, primary passing outside that most teams covet for next-level ball. Her setter, [player_tooltip player_id='110509' first='Macy' last='Hinshaw'] ('24 5-9 S, Santa Clara commit) was a lithe and smooth setter who struggled to lead by example, but is now THE example for how to run an offense for winning programs.

Earning the Hoosier Region bid, the top squad at TP in the Fort Wayne area has a solid complement of under-the-radar talent. [player_tooltip player_id='167492' first='Macy' last='Hatkevich'] ('23, 5-8 S, Toledo signee) is such an athletic and aggressive setter that it's hard to believe schools passed on her. [player_tooltip player_id='264395' first='Molly' last='Crall'] ('23, 5-10 MB/OH, Green Bay signee) can play multiple positions at the Division I level with her speed and athleticism. [player_tooltip player_id='202656' first='Emory' last='Guderian'] ('23, 5-6 DS/L, Northern Kentucky signee) is such an exceptional defender and serve receive specialist that she signed with the best passing team in the Horizon. [player_tooltip player_id='143885' first='Ellie' last='Frey'] ('23, 6-0 OH, Grand Canyon signee) takes her talents to Phoenix and the WAC as a thumping outside that can do a little of everything.
