Standout &#8216;Bros at the Motor City Madness Showcase

<p><em><sub>Be sure to follow <strong>@lshotvb </strong>on Instagram and Tik Tok for all things volleyball!</sub></em></p>   <p>They don't call it Motor City Madness for nothing!</p>   <p>This weekend didn't pull any punches when it came to the madness that occurred in the gym! Some of the top talent around Michigan and across the boarder were on tap for this weekend's showcase. These players brought the heat!</p>   <p>Here are some of the showcase's top 'bros!</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='261147' first='Emma' last='Flick'] - Traverse City West/Northshore</h4>   <p>This young pup is going to be a 'bro to keep an eye on for years to come. Only as a freshman, [player_tooltip player_id='261147' first='Emma' last='Flick'] plays a very steady game in the back court. She has a great vision for the opponent's offense and positions herself so well for a big dig.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">Laila Frye - Milan/HVVC</h4>   <p>This was my first opportunity to watch Frye in action, needless to say, I like what I saw. Frye is a silent, yet effective defender on the court. She was making some really high level plays on Friday and making it look easy!</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='226897' first='Charlotte' last='Gramzow'] - Lutheran North/Michigan Elite</h4>   <p>Since the club season began, Gramzow has been donning the libero jersey for Michigan Elite's 15 Mizuno and absolutely thriving. Since I last saw her at the Top 250 back in December, Gramzow has improved so much. From her movement, to her ball control and her command of the court, she was looking top tier at Motor City.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='226913' first='Abbigayl' last='Sells'] - Lake Fenton/High Performance</h4>   <p>Another vastly improved player since the Top 250 Showcase in December, Sells is really coming into her own as a defender. Sells plays the game with a lot of poise and a lot of technique, and it takes her a long way!</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='261122' first='Alyssa' last='Jasman'] - Canton/Michigan Elite</h4>   <p>I was rather impressed with this libero's play on Friday. Jasman not only brings a lot of hustle to the court, but she brings a sense of energy as well! Jasman is the kind of 'bro to leave it all on the court.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='236712' first='Chelsea' last='Pearce'] - Mattawan/USA Michigan</h4>   <p>Pearce is one of those players that could be thrown in any position and she'll work her butt off at it. I saw some great things out of Pearce during the positional trainings. When it was time for the combined sessions, Pearce always found her way on the court, excelling at whatever position she found herself in.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='261164' first='Jenna' last='Flick'] - Traverse City West/Northshore</h4>   <p>It's always a good time when the Flick sisters are on a court near you! [player_tooltip player_id='261164' first='Jenna' last='Flick'] had another great outing here in the Motor City. Like many others on this list, this was the first I got to see of Flick since December. She continues to show a lot of growth in her game and was an easy standout at this showcase as well.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='261205' first='Saniyah' last='Terry'] - L'Anse Creuse/Crank It</h4>   <p>I always love getting to catch [player_tooltip player_id='261205' first='Saniyah' last='Terry'] in action, she can just do it all! While listed as a libero, Terry easily has all of the tools to play any position on the court. She's a scrappy defender and plays the game with a really high IQ.</p>
