Over 300 teams will be in attendance in fifteen different divisions. Today’s edition will be another focus on two teams in the 15 Open section of the tournament.
Boiler Juniors 152E Black
Multiple kids on this roster carry multiple skill sets and will do their part to score points on a regular basis. Audrey Alexander Audrey Alexander 5'11" | RS West Lafayette | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-10 RS/OH, West Lafayette) is a multipositional pin attacker that has spent a ton of time on the right side. She hits high and hard at multiple angles, and is a bear to deal with on net defense. Della Bossung Della Bossung 5'10" | OH Harrison West Lafayette | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-10 OH, Harrison) has that pass-to-attack movement mastered and is a six-rotation player with a ton of upside. Morgan Osborn Morgan Osborn 5'0" | DS/L Columbus North | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-0 DS/L, Brown County) comes from a tiny school well south of Indianapolis, yet has the tools and the talent to be a full-time libero in the future. Her fast feet and solid anticipation skills will do her wonders for the remainder of this season and beyond.
Academy 15E Vipers
Another 2s squad, this time at the flagship club in Indy. Two kids we’ll be keeping an eye on are Sophia Anthony Sophia Anthony 5'6" | DS/L Carmel | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-6 DS/L, Carmel) and Lila Wilson Lila Wilson 5'11" | MB Fall Creek JH | 2027 State IN (’27, 5-11 MB, Fall Creek JH). Sophia comes from a long line of exceptional defenders at Carmel, and has the natural ability to someday wear the special jersey. Lila is a nice surprise for this age group, as she is one of only a handful of “class of ’27” kids that can makes waves in this age division. Her length and strength, coupled with her playing up an age group, should bode well for her future.
