With the Windy City Qualifier starting this Friday, we need to get ahead of the previews and talk about players from multiple teams from the Hoosier State. Here are five athletes from four teams that are important to the success of their respective squads.

[player_tooltip player_id='192107' first='Sadie' last='Poeck'], 6-0 OH, Zionsville, Circle City 16 Black, 16 USA

One of a pair of high-flyers on Circle's 16-2 roster, Sadie is a long and lean outside that can hit every angle and attacks at a higher-than-average attack point. Her ability to terminate regularly makes defending her difficult, and she's slowly learning all parts of her game to make her more marketable.

[player_tooltip player_id='228758' first='Elena' last='Chappell'], 6-0 MB, Zionsville, Circle City 16 Black, 16 USA

Slowly inching her way to that ten foot attack touch mark, Elena is a bonafide M2 that has the potential to be the top middle at Zionsville in this, or any, class. I like her ability to defend from pin to pin, and she wastes no steps in either her net defense or her transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='365574' first='Anne' last='Marie Wadle'], 6-1 MB, Marquette Catholic, Dunes 16 Black, 16 USA

Playing taller than her 6-1 frame would suggest, Miss Wadle is a defensive M2 that uses her length to her advantage. She's gaining upper-body strength with each passing tournament, and her size alone should turn heads in Chicago this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='365572' first='Haley' last='Sollenberger'], 6-1 MB, Brownsburg, Circle City 16 White, 16 American

The second of two Sollenbergers at Circle, Haley is cut from the same cloth as her older sister, Abby (she plays for 18 Black). Big, strong and with a high volleyball IQ, Haley has the potential to take over a match on those skills alone. Her attack touch is also closing in on ten feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='365573' first='Elle' last='Odom'], 5-11 RS, Hamilton Southeastern, Rev 16-2 Swarm, 16 American

Elle fits the mold of what Royals look like at HSE. She's a left-handed big that takes up more space on the block than your average 5-11 right side should, and terminates both out-of-system and in-system balls at a similar rate. I'd like to see a faster arm swing, but for now, she uses her shoulder strength to her advantage.
