Miley is an energizer on the court. She is dynamic and great in transition. Her pass to attack is very high level and she is both aggressive and impactful. Miley makes plays that are momentum-changing and really amps her team up with her energy and smart plays. Miley is always willing to step up to a challenge and is a gritty player.
Highlights
Evelyn is a lefty right side hitter who has a huge vertical and a high contact point on the ball. She executes efficiently in tight matches and is a go-to hitter. Evelyn is always available for a swing and is aggressive with her decisions. She has a lot of potential on the pin and comes up big in transition for her team.
Highlights
Alexis is gritty and scrappy on defense. She never lets a ball drop without a full out effort. Alexis is fearless in the back row and aggressive in her pursuit of the ball. You can never assume a ball is dead when Alexis is in the back row. She excels on defense and reacting quickly to hits coming over the net; however, adds a lot of value on serve receive as well.
Masina is a fearless leader on the court. She is not afraid to make risky choices with her sets, and usually they pay off! She sets against the grain and keeps all of her hitters involved. What makes Masina so impactful as a setter is her great footwork and sound fundamentals. This gives her the confidence to take risks on her sets. She is an energizer on the court and a player to watch in this class.
Gracia is a hidden gem in this class. She is newer on my radar and has been nothing but impressive. Gracia is a lefty setter who runs a 5-1 for 1W. She has huge potential as a six-rotation athlete. Her decisions are smart and she works in tips and aggressive shots once in a while. She is a consistent setter with good form and court awareness.
Julia is a leader who runs the court. She is constantly communicating with her team and leads by example by running down every second ball. She puts in huge hustle on the court and is very successful in keeping the ball alive and bettering passes to set her hitters up for success. She is aggressive and has clean hands.
Laura is a bit under the radar but I think she will only rise in this class. She works incredibly hard on the court and is dedicated to improving on every play. Laura is athletic and smart. When she connects with her setters she makes momentum-changing plays. Laura is disciplined and talented as a middle.
Norah is another middle with huge potential in this class. At 6’1″, she already has a big presence at the net, but her tough play and hustle on the court take her to the next level. Norah works hard to close every block and sees the opposing side of the court well. She is disciplined in transition and has power behind her swings.
Highlights
Olivia is a setter who also swings on the right side. She balances the two positions very well. When Olivia is in the front row, she is aggressive with her swings. She uses her big vertical and keen eye to place shots and earn points. As a setter, she is smart and savvy. She has a clean touch on the ball and makes good choices.
Emily is a strong six-rotation athlete. She is an impact player on nearly every play and can be relied upon to execute in high-pressure situations. From her serve to her blocking, Emily has sound fundamentals on every skills. She is a go-to hitter in both the front and back row and is consistent on converting points out of serve receive.
Highlights
Grae is a talented utility player. Her profile may say she is a right side, but in reality she can play across the net. During high school season she played out of the middle and was a solid addition to Oconomowoc’s talented squad. During club season, she is getting experience on both pins. Grae seems to do well wherever she plays – an incredibly valuable characteristic to have as an athlete.
Emma is a setter who runs the court with confidence and great communication. She shows grit on the court and works hard to keep the ball alive. She has a lot of experience playing at a high level and it shows in her decision making during matches. Emma is also talented as a hitter and typically plays on the right side when she is in the front row.

Nora is a powerhouse middle who has near limitless potential. She is an impact player who brings a lot of energy and momentum with her big plays. Nora takes an incredibly powerful and fast-paced swing. Even if she is up against a big block, she can usually push the ball through or out-pace the opponents.
Mallory is a high-flying pin who was a Top Performer at the Battle at the Bay. She is aggressive with her swings and fearless in her decisions. Mallory has great court awareness and is a talented 6-rotation athlete. She is disciplined in transition and is hungry for the ball. Mallory impressed me with her pass to attack and her urgency on the court.
