Player Bio
About me
I am Mallory Hartwig and I am from Sauk Prairie Wisconsin. This year for HS as a sophomore, I led the team with 278 total kills, was second in digs with 250 and serve receptions with 282, also 3rd in blocks and aces! We had a great team this year and made it to sectional finals. Looking forward to my club season and many national tournaments!
What position(s) do you play? What do you view as your strengths?
I am a 5'11 OH and all around and energetic player. I have an outstanding vertical and am known for my blocking quickness, powerful shoot kill, back row attacks, and topspin serve. During some games I was moved to the RS to shut down dominant hitters with my block. I feel as though I can see the court better than most because of being a multiple sport athlete, although Volleyball is my favorite!
What type of school are you looking for?
I dream of attending a Division I School where I can further my education studying Physical Therapy. I love traveling and playing volleyball , so I know a bigger school is right for me hopefully one that my parents couId come to watch. I would love to be in the big X conference but am open to Mid Major schools such as Missouri Valley, and of course all these big dogs: Big XII, SEC, Pac 12 or ACC.
What are your interests outside of Volleyball?
During club volleyball season, I am playing basketball where I am the point guard. In the spring I usually play HS soccer but this year may not so that I can focus on Volleyball Nationals and camps. I also love to run and am training for a half marathon this summer! When I am not playing sports, I love to go boating with my family and friends. I am a great water skier and wake boarder!
Closing Statement
I appreciate you looking into my profile. I have a lot to offer and would love to speak further about volleyball and what type of players you are looking for for class of 2026! Please send me your questionnaire or summer camp schedule, Thank you! Mallory Hartwig
