Worwa does a nice job taking care of the net. She takes the overpass and a 3 ball to the deep corners. She seals the net with her long wingspan and takes up a lot of space for her defense.
Highlights
If you watch MN Select 16-1, you would never know Hoecke is a year younger. She plays with such maturity both mentally and physically. Hoecke has such a fast armswing and can routinely hit the ball around or in front of the 10 ft line. She cuts hard angles, gets in the air quickly, and gun for the deep corners as well. Her block is stiffling and causes attacker anxiety. Hoecke is a big time talent that is sure to pull a lot of big D1 attention.
Highlights
Hertaus puts up a huge block and closes the split on the pins. She has a natural nose for the ball as a blocker. Hertaus can direct the ball to either angle for a point. She finds the gap or gets up quick to beat the block with a fast arm swing
I’m a big fan of Laffond’s style of play. She is in your face and physical at the net. She runs a number of different routes but each one she goes after confident and aggressive. Laffond is athletic and quick laterally with no problem closing the block at the pins.
Rosolanka does a nice job at the net and has good reactions. She handles the tight sets and gets her hands up on the overpass. Rosolanka also runs a smooth slide route and takes a quick swing.
