Hertaus has several tools at her disposal and she is highly effective with all of them. She can hit a nice offspeed ball or light up te right back when a blocker is late. If there are smaller blockers in front of her she will take advantage otherwise she exposes the split by speeding up her armswing for the kill.

Hertaus has really grown over the past club season and she is more accurate hitting the angles, taking stronger swings, and she is playing with more and more confidence. Her experience over the past few months will give her more versatility and has her playing a faster offense. Her ability to run many routes make her quite an asset for Lakeville South .

Hertaus has decent size approaching 6’0 and she is using her length and foot speed to take advantage on the club scene. She’s very athletic and quick to compliment the explosive jumping ability and long reach. I love watching her adjust in her routes or help put up a booming block.

Hertaus has some really fast footwork and I like watching how hard she works in transition to be available to attack. If blockers give her any room she takes advantage. I’ve see her run more of a variety of routes near the end of the season and I think that will help take her game to another level. Hertaus does a great job of getting her hands up and taking space with her block.

Hertaus works the angles to get past the opposing block. She also knows how to get a block at a big moment and comes in clutch for her squad. Hertaus moves well lateraly and does a really nice job closing the block.

Hertaus puts up a huge block and closes the split on the pins. She has a natural nose for the ball as a blocker. Hertaus can direct the ball to either angle for a point. She finds the gap or gets up quick to beat the block with a fast arm swing
