Lexi Shondell Lexi Shondell 5'8" | S McCutcheon | 2026 State IN , 5-8, McCutcheon, Boiler Juniors
In a word, duh. Lexi is from a long line of setters and is the progeny of one of the best ball-control coaches nationally. She can already run a faster-than-average offense, makes smart decisions regularly, and turns bad passes into hittable sets. Already playing at a more mature level than most of the setters in this (or any) class, Lexi is a no-doubt recruit for the fall of ’26.
Maddie Carnes Maddie Carnes 5'11" | S Springs Valley | 2026 State IN , 5-11, Springs Valley, Union
At Springs Valley, Maddie is asked to do a ton of stuff, including setting in the back row and attacking in the front row. As far as her all-around skill is concerned, she’s more than capable of doing anything she wants. Recently, her focus has been on her setting at the club level. Although she’s running a 6-2 and doesn’t come out, I like the development her hands have made over this club season. She’s quick and deceptive with her hands, her feet are constantly under her, and she rarely makes poor decisions.
Grace Hargis Grace Hargis 5'8" | S Avon | 2026 State IN , 5-8, Avon, Rev
Going all the way across town to run a 1s team, Grace is a solid and consistent setter that can either run a 6-2 or be by herself in a 5-1. Although she’s not as big as the other setters on this list, she makes up for it in defending her position well and is consistent with her play.
Addie Haberthy Addie Haberthy 5'11" | S Roncalli | 2026 State IN , 5-11, Roncalli, Circle City
Of the setters on this list, Addie is probably the most “college ready” of the bunch. She’s already running a 5-1 at such a high level that it’s hard to believe she’s only 15. Tall, athletic and smooth, she does everything a setter should do at a high level, and knows nothing except winning.
Reese Blanchard Reese Blanchard 5'10" | S Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory | 2026 State IN , 5-9, Brebeuf, Academy
Speaking of playing beyond her age group, Reese is a mature and athletic setter that can run a fast offense right now. She makes the team around her better and makes a better ball out of a bad pass regularly. I’m hoping she gets some varsity reps in the fall, which can show us what she can do with some big time hitters that are guaranteed next level.
