[player_tooltip player_id='253963' first='Alexys' last='James'] - Houston Skyline 16 Black

[player_tooltip player_id='253963' first='Alexys' last='James'] had a huge year in terms of development and progress. She is one of the best-known names around the Houston area as far as setting goes, and this year she has excelled in skill and athleticism. She has been showing her range toward the end of the year doubling as a setter and a hitter, and recently had a game with double-digit kills. She also possesses some intangible skills like a great attitude and maximum effort when playing.

[player_tooltip player_id='142210' first='Alysa' last='Walker'] - Alamo 17 Premier

[player_tooltip player_id='142210' first='Alysa' last='Walker'] really impressed me at Lone Star Regionals, especially in their last two games. While some may say she's undersized for an outside, she more than makes up for it with her verticle and consistency. She is a regular season stand-out because when you are on Alysa's court, your eyes automatically draw to her because of her sheer athleticism on the pin. She is capable of bouncing balls, even around a huge block.

[player_tooltip player_id='186263' first='Madison' last='Lee'] - SA Impact 171

Setter [player_tooltip player_id='186263' first='Madison' last='Lee'] has done a fantastic job all season running the offense for SA Impact 171. This team qualified in 17 Liberty and [player_tooltip player_id='186263' first='Madison' last='Lee']'s ball distribution is a big factor in that. She commands the floor when she is in and does a very good job of creating situations where her hitters are successful. She brings a sense of gritty determination on the floor, something every coach is looking for in a setter!

[player_tooltip player_id='315565' first='Bella' last='Wood'] - Arete 16 Navy Telos

Pin hitter [player_tooltip player_id='315565' first='Bella' last='Wood'] first got on my radar earlier this season and since then I have been watching her progress. She is a huge contributor to her team and has a great connection with her setter [player_tooltip player_id='354190' first='Arianna' last='Reyna']. Her arm swing has gotten stronger since the beginning of the season, and standing at 6 feet, she is a real force to be reconned with on the block. She is a regular season stand-out for what she brings to the court for her team as a consistent option on the pin.

[player_tooltip player_id='235445' first='Julianna' last='Hernandez'] - TAV 15 Black

[player_tooltip player_id='235445' first='Julianna' last='Hernandez'] finished the regular season showing everyone why she is the number 1 libero for 15s according to our rankings. She has incredible range on defense and covers a huge portion of the court in serve receive. From her one-arm saves to her steady serve-receive platform, Julianna can really do it all. She makes the regular season all stand out list because she thrives on competition and doesn't back down from a challenge.

[player_tooltip player_id='179568' first='Isabella' last='Ocampo'] - Skyline 16 Royal

[player_tooltip player_id='179568' first='Isabella' last='Ocampo'] seemed to make a huge surge at the end of the regular season this spring. She was hitting the ball harder and approaching faster, helping her to get more tools and kills off the block. She also has turned out to be a solid 6 rotation option for Skyline 16 Royal. Her serve receive and side out percentage must be through the roof, because every time I see her swing, she is terminating.

[player_tooltip player_id='179900' first='Isabella' last='Orton'] - Texas Fury 16 Legacy National

One of my favorite setters in the 16 age group, [player_tooltip player_id='179900' first='Isabella' last='Orton'] is a fantastic setter but brings so many more skills to the court as well. She first got my attention at the Prep Dig Showcase, where she was willing to fill in any position, and even played a few balls as a middle. She is very versatile and has a heavy arm on the right side. She also is an excellent blocker, with great eye tracking and seems to hang in the air while she completes the block.
