Ocampo will lead her team Dallas Skyline 17 Royal in the 17 Open division of the event. An extremely technical and intelligent player, she stands out against much taller opponents and is central in her team’s playing system with her ability to provide defensive and offensive stability. A Mexican Youth international, Ocampo is incredibly sound technically, but what makes her so impressive is her high volleyball IQ, which gives her a full picture of her strengths and weaknesses and how to use them. An elite player on the backcourt, the pin hitter is also tremendously productive at the net, making an explosive approach and ending plays with very precise swings.

Ocampo played a major role in Dallas Skyline 17 Royal’s successful campaign of five wins and two losses, which got them in second place. An extremely technical player, she stands out for her incredible ball control and was very steady with her passing and defense during the day. Ocampo also did a very good job at the net, using her creative and resourceful game to beat blockers and defenders and put the ball down. She also made a major impact from the service line and her game was extremely consistent throughout the day.

Ocampo was a key player in the Dallas Skyline 17 Royal team that finished second with five wins and two losses. A very technical and intelligent player, she helps the team in many different ways and it’s hard to see how they would be able to play the same way without her. Ocampo is excellent with her ball control and does a lot of hard work on the backcourt, passing at a very high level and getting a lot of touches on defense. Despite not being among the tallest hitters on the team, the Mexican youth international is extremely explosive and resourceful at the net, having the tools to score in any situation. Ocampo can also impact the game from the service line with her floater.

Ranked 32nd in our Class of 2025 Prep Dig State Rankings, Ocampo was easily the best player in the Mexican national team during the event. She ranked first in her team in kills (85) and aces (nine) and was third in digs (42) – Ocampo was also the Mexican leading scorer with 95 points. The outside hitter was also big in each of the two Mexican victories in the event, producing 15 points against Germany and ten against Canada – as well as 17 in a four-set loss to Poland.
