<p><strong>Girls Pan Am Cup</strong></p>

<p>Twenty players are on the U19 Pan Am Cup Roster roster, with 12 of them eventually being selected to compete in Puerto Rico. There is quite a list of players representing our state-line coverage area. [player_tooltip player_id='99224' first='Calissa' last='Minatee'] formerly of [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last='']' last=''] will compete for a middle position after graduating early and heading to Minnesota. The Pan Am team is being coached by her current college coach Keegan Cook. On the pin, 18 USA national champion and Kentucky bound [player_tooltip player_id='120008' first='Brooklyn' last='DeLeye'] will compete for a roster spot representing Topeka. [player_tooltip player_id='154041' first='Logan' last='Parks'], who can do a lot is listed as trying to make the final team in the opposite/setter role. Parks is ranked number 2 in the class rankings for Kansas 2025. Number 1 in the ranking is also in the building in setter [player_tooltip player_id='154039' first='Reese' last='Messer']. Oh, and we have number 3 in the state but for a different class as [player_tooltip player_id='150068' first='Ryan' last='McAleer'] from the 2024 group is a member of the team as a libero.</p>

<p><strong>Far Western Qualifier</strong></p>

<p><strong>Mavs KC 15-1 </strong>had a runner-up finish in the USA division. They had an 8-2 record over the three days being led by Sydney Baumfaulk, [player_tooltip player_id='220462' first='Madilynn' last='Benne'], and company. </p>

<p>The USA division 16 age group had a 5th place finish return to Missouri in <strong>Mizuno Club North 16 Karen</strong>. They fought their way to a 6-2 tournament finish behind [player_tooltip player_id='219756' first='Karlee' last='Riggs'] and the squad. </p>

<p><strong>KC Challenge 17-1</strong> continued their strong season out west losing in the championship of the American division and just missing a bid. Over in the open, <strong>Pohaku 17-1</strong> had a nice run to finish runner-ups to move up. Going 6-4, they won the right matches at the right time to keep navigating the field. </p>

<p><strong>18s GJNC action and All-Tournament Honorees</strong></p>

<p>We will be talking in another article specifically about our duo of National Champions but many teams fared well in their final weekend. For those who didn't know, <strong>[program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']' last='']'] 18 Black </strong>and <strong>Topeka Impact 18-1</strong> captured titles in the National and USA divisions respectively. In the American, <strong>Missouri Jrs. 18-1 </strong>had the highest finish at 9th. The Freedom had Gateway Region representative Top Notch end tied at 11th. <strong>[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last='']' last=''] 18 Black</strong> captured a 6th place finish in Freedom. [program_tooltip program_id='432164' first='Fight' last='Club'] wasn't too far behind at 7th. We highlighted [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']' last=''] in the National, <strong>[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last='']' last=''] 18 Elite</strong> had a good showing at 9th. <strong>Mizuno Club North 18 Sam</strong> made it to the gold bracket and left with a 5th-place finish. The lone open team, <strong>Mavs KC 18-1 </strong>ended their season at 27th. </p>
