Top Available Athletes in Iowa’s Updated 2024 Rankings

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Iowa Class of 2024 rankings have been updated heading into the summer.&nbsp; These athletes are finishing their junior year of high school, ready for a big senior season.&nbsp; These athletes are looking to go out on top whether that be making school history, finishing their season at Xtream, and for most finding a place to play their college ball.&nbsp; As for the rankings, are they subjective? Yes.&nbsp; We can debate rankings all day.&nbsp; This is a list that college coaches can use to see where athletes are playing high school and if they are committed or not.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Athletes can claim their profile to update their own information as well.&nbsp; She's won state titles in volleyball and basketball for DNH.&nbsp; Each time she steps on the court she has shown improvement to go along with her length and athleticism.&nbsp; She can touch a basketball rim and also shoot it from deep.&nbsp; This past fall she was a key part to the Clear Creek-Amana squad who caught fire at the end of the season to finish as Class 4A runner-ups.&nbsp; Berkland can play at a high level, she knows what it's like to be part of a winning program.&nbsp; I can't emphasize that enough when it comes to the game of [player_tooltip player_id='168178' first='Michaela' last='Goad'].&nbsp; Her Marion High School team lost a heartbreaker in the Class 4A Quarterfinals to Clear Creek-Amana, but in that game I saw how explosive and dynamic Goad could be.&nbsp; She was hitting on the outside out of serve receive.&nbsp; She was a major impact in the middle offensively and defensively with a fast arm that could hit sharp angles while also getting a touch on the opposing attacker's swing.&nbsp; She was the key cog in the Indianola run to the state tournament in 2022 where they lost a five set thriller in the quarterfinals.&nbsp; The Indians will return a lot of key pieces from that team where they could be a favorite to take home some hardware this upcoming fall.&nbsp; Runyan is able to get her feet to the ball and remain neutral where she can make it look like she is setting a quick to her middle or pushing the ball to the outside.&nbsp; She has a high IQ and smooth release which makes her one of the top setters in the state.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
