June 15th is right around the corner and you know what that means! It’s like Christmas comes early for all of the 2025s across the country!
The floodgates are finally opening up and it’s going to be a fun few weeks seeing where some of the top talent in the country land.
Let’s take a look at 50 of the top prospects who will be getting the calls and getting picked up fast after the long-awaited June 15th date arrives!
Reese Messer Reese Messer 5'11" | S St. James | 2025 State #6 Nation KS – 5’11 S – Dynasty
This player is another top 2025 product that’s been playing up an age group or two for quite sometime. While on paper, Messer is equipped with some of the most elite youth attackers in the country, its her ability to run an offense that takes her teams to another level. Alongside teammate Mullen, I fully expect Messer to be a quick pick up come Friday.
Abby Vander Wal Abby Vander Wal 6'3" | OH Timothy Christian | 2025 State #2 Nation IL – 6’4 OH – 1st Alliance
When this unit is action, there’s not much one can do to slow her down. At 6’4 and with the hops that Vander Wal has, she can be an unstoppable force at the net and through the back row. For someone her size, she plays a really strong pass and defensive game as well.
Teraya Sigler Teraya Sigler 6'3" | OH Horizon | 2025 #1 Nation AZ – 6’2 OH – AZ Storm
If we’re looking to recent NCAA grads for comparison to this athlete, I’d look no further than the 2022 NPOY, Logan Eggleston. Sigler plays a very similar game to this Longhorn great. Sigler has a physical prowess on offense and boots it with some a nice touch in the back court!
Addison Makun Addison Makun 6'5" | MB Silver Creek | 2025 State #78 Nation IN – 6’4 MB – KIVA
KIVA was bringing the heat all season long and no one’s temp was hotter than Makun in the middle. An athlete with her size and athleticism, Makun was established herself as a game changer early on. With a strong blocking presence and a keen eye for open court on the attack, its tough to not want this middle on YOUR roster.
Jessica Costlow Jessica Costlow 5'11" | OH SMCC | 2025 State #142 Nation MI – 5’11 OH – Michigan Elite
This is a player having a huge sophomore season! A well-known product with her serve and pass game, it’s been her scoring on the left pin and through the pipe that has heads turning. Costlow is as complete as a player as they come. A young star I could see making waves one day on the beach in the AVP.
Chloe Giehtbrock Chloe Giehtbrock 6'2" | S Marian | 2025 State MI – 6’1 S – L2
Fairly new to the setter’s position, Giehtbrock took VERY little time making herself known as much needed commodity at the net level. With her history as a hitter, she brings a lot of athleticism and physicality to the position. She’s been making a lot of heads turn in her debut as a setter, and I don’t think we’ve seen the most of her yet.
Kenna Cogill Kenna Cogill 6'4" | MB Perry | 2025 #29 Nation AZ – 6’4 MB – AZ Storm
This AZ Storm team is brutally stacked with some big time names. Cogill is definitely amongst one of the top middles in the country. Off of one foot or two, in front of or behind the setter, whatever the play may be Cogill can run it and CRUSH it! Amongst her fellow middles in this class, Cogill is one of the smoothest movers amongst the bunch for sure.
Aniya Warren Aniya Warren 5'8" | DS/L Benet Academy | 2025 State #33 Nation IL – 5’8 L – 1st Alliance
When you see this team across the net, you see pure size and power, last thing you want to see is a defensive dandy like Warren behind the towers too! While she has the luxury of a very strong front line, if it weren’t for this ‘bros first touch, 1st Alliance would not be the national power that it is this season.
Lameen Mambu Lameen Mambu 6'0" | OH Chantilly | 2025 State #64 Nation VA – 5’11 OH – Metro
I got to get a sneak peak of what Mambu was about last season when she was playing at Paramount. Now at Metro, Mambu is showing off a lot more than I thought. Her height may deceive you, but in typical Metro-fashion, the kid jumps out of the gym and can bang a ball with the best of them. A very Yossi Pressley type of player and wouldn’t be a bad pick up for any top program.
Keri Leimbach Keri Leimbach 5'4" | DS/L Lincoln Lutheran | 2025 State #40 Nation NE – 5’4 L – Nebraska ONE
She’s been one of the top names in the libero conversation for this class for what seems like forever now. With June 15th just a day away, I cannot wait to see who will be the lucky school to grab Leimbach. A powerful and steady lib in the back court, she takes a lot of control with ease, a quality perfect for any team at the next level.
