June 15th is right around the corner and you know what that means! It’s like Christmas comes early for all of the 2025s across the country!
The floodgates are finally opening up and it’s going to be a fun few weeks seeing where some of the top talent in the country land.
Let’s take a look at 50 of the top prospects who will be getting the calls and getting picked up fast after the long-awaited June 15th date arrives!
Kirra Musgrove Kirra Musgrove 6'2" | S Lutheran South Academy | 2025 State #12 Nation TX – 6’2 S – Houston Skyline
I tend to forget that Musgrove is only a sophomore because of how well she’s been playing in the 17 Open division this past season. Yet another huge lefty setter with just about every trick in the book up her sleeve, Musgrove can double as both an elite level setter and a bombing opposite attacker.
Ella Craggs Ella Craggs 5'9" | S Northville | 2025 State #127 Nation MI – 5’9 S – Michigan Elite
Don’t let her size deceive you, Craggs can play just as big as the rest of the setters in this class. Speed has become the name of her game this sophomore season and it fits her style of play really well. This is a type of setter that has complete control over the game and can run an offense like no other. Alongside her incredible defense, Craggs would be a steal in the coming days.
Kristen Simon Kristen Simon 5'7" | DS/L Assumption | 2025 State #70 Nation KY – 5’5 L – KIVA
One thing that can be expected year after year out of KIVA, is a crew of strong liberos and DS’s. No one better in this class out of the KIVA cannon than Simon. While she may fall under the radar given her huge teammates at the net, its the first contact of Simon’s that lets this team go as far as it has gotten this season.
Gabriella Pitcel Gabriella Pitcel 6'1" | MB Mukwonago | 2025 State #42 Nation WI – 6’1 MB – MKE Sting
Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. That’s about how fast Pitcel can be at the net. In front of the setter, Pitcel is one of the deadliest weapons you can find in the middle. Off the ground fast, on top of the ball even faster and before you know it the game is over! Pitcel’s comfortability playing at such a speed at this level makes her a real valuable recruit out of this class.
Reese Dunkle Reese Dunkle 6'3" | MB Center Grove | 2025 State #31 Nation IN – 6’3 MB – Circle City
This Circle City squad isn’t known for having the biggest of teams around, but with Dunkle in the middle, that’s all you need. Dunkle is one of the stronger blockers in the 2025 group and wreaks a lot of havoc on opponents with her ownership of the net.
Ryan Hunter Ryan Hunter 6'2" | RS Cox Mill | 2025 #30 Nation NC – 6’2 OPP – Triangle
It’s become a common theme to see some of the top kids in this class playing up an age group or two. Hunter is one of those kids playing up in 17 Open and totally dominating. She’s a high flying lefty with the hang time of a lifetime. With her hang time, it’s no wonder how Hunter can score at such a high rate all season long.
Belle Groomes Belle Groomes 6'0" | S St. Joseph Academy | 2025 State #38 Nation OH – 6’0 S/OPP – AVC
This is surely an intriguing recruit coming out of Cleveland. With nearly all of the tools in her toolbox as a setter, a hitter and a defender, the options are endless to where you can put Groomes on the court. An ultimate utility player who can deliver in any front you ask her to.
Addy Tindall Addy Tindall 6'3" | OH Homestead | 2025 State #20 Nation IN – 6’3 OH – Team Pineapple
Much like Team Pineapple’s 2024 class, they offer up another massive athlete on the pin for the 2025 class. Much like Gaerte in the 2024 class, i can definitely see Tindall landing in a top program throughout the midwest. Tindall brings a lot of range in her playing with a great court awareness in both the front and back court.
Hudl Highlight
Isabelle Busignani Isabelle Busignani 6'1" | OH Marian | 2025 State #73 Nation MI – 6’1 OH – Michigan Elite
Coming off of a huge sophomore season, I think Busignani might keep the good times rolling going into June. After being named MVP of Marian’s third straight Division 1 Championship in Michigan, Busignani has been knocking down some heavy weights throughout the club season. She’s on the hunt for a national title in June and collegiately in the coming years.
Olivia Grenadier Olivia Grenadier 6'1" | MB Country Day | 2025 State #91 Nation MI – 6’1 MB – Legacy
A part of Legacy’s 1-2 punch with S Campbell Flynn, Grenadier has to be one of the highest scoring pins across the entire 16 Open field. No matter where her setter is, the connection is never off and always terminal. A beast of an attacker, she’s an even better blocker with great lateral movement and closure on the pins!
