Players are getting ready to battle on the court in an attempt to bring home hardware and put their club’s name and team on the map. After months of practice, tournaments, and qualifiers teams are ready to show what dedication, commitment and sacrifice look like. Each player brings their talent and skills that make the dream work. Introducing six middles who should be on the radar and watched during Nationals and their upcoming high school season.
Teiora Tinoisamoa
Teiora Tinoisamoa
Teiora Tinoisamoa plays her middle position with ease. The picture captured happened to be a block as you can see her fingers on the ball and she pushed it right back over and down to score. Her quick lateral shuffle keeps her ready and in position to help her pins. Teiora has high hands and uses her stiff arms to create a wall that is difficult to penetrate. She has a fast reaction time at the net, so if it’s an overpass be ready for fire behind the ball because she’s likely going to score. Tinoisamoa is an uncommitted upcoming senior class of 2024 who would bring great defense and offense to any program. Keep an eye on Teiora Tinoisamoa this upcoming high school season.
Scout Bucher
Scout Bucher
Scout Bucher knows how to angel her hit to go right on the side of a block like captured in her photo. She plays with confidence, ready to react at the net with a block or kill. She watches the ball and know which way to shift. She is ready at the net, hands up and shuffles back ready to approach the ball. Scout Bucher is a player and name to keep an eye on.
Sydney Janowitz
Sydney Janowitz
Sydney Janowitz is playing up age and grade. Her height is a benefit of her position in the middle. She can block at the net or slow an attack down from the opponent’s pins. She gets up over a block to score. Sydney has power behind her swing and can find open areas to score. She is always ready to attack a quick short set in middle. Janowitz is a player to watch as she grows in the game.
Lilliana Montes Lilliana Montes 6’3″ | MB Vista Murrieta | 2024 State CA ‘ height can be intimidating. She is a solid player, standing at 6’3. She can capitalize on a quick short set that sends the ball straight down. Being so tall, her blocking at the net looks effortless. When she runs a slide, her approach and attack can get the ball through the block to score. Lilliana is a smart player who knows when to swing away, tip, or push the ball over. Montes is an uncommitted player for the class of 2024. She would be an asset to any team looking for a solid player. Emma Machado
Emma Machado
Emma Machado blocks at the net with her jump, high hands, and solid arms. She makes the ball go straight down as captured in her picture. She can slow down attacks by getting a touch on the ball which helps to start the offense. Emma’s lateral movements help her get to the outside and right side pins to help with blocking. When set at middle, Machado will pound the ball creating enough velocity and speed to score. Keep an eye on Emma Machado.
Ava Glonek
Ava Glonek
Ava Glonek has a nice arm swing and extension that allows her to get on top of a ball and score. She is constantly moving, ready for a set to attack at middle. She can score many ways by hitting through the block, tooling it, or tipping over it. Ava reacts at the net by blocking attacks on the right side or scoring on an overpass. Her quickness allows her to get up in the air before her opponents which makes it easier to score when the block is beaten. Sharing Ava Glonek as a player to be watched.
