The Open bids come via earning it at a qualifier or an at-large selection if all bids aren’t allocated at those events. The National bids are earned in your region’s format of choice, which for HOA is their Power League competition.
Open
Mavs KC 16-1
Mavs have been on this spring as evidenced by winning their Power League competition over three play dates. They hit some road bumps with a less-than-stellar performance at Sunshine but returned to Kansas City and finished Power League strong. 16-1 snatched their open bid at Show Me in April and also looked good in Texas finishing 9th a couple of weeks later. Logan Parks Logan Parks 5'11" | S Blue Valley North | 2025 State #8 Nation KS went off to help lead Team USA to a Pan Am title and does a little bit of everything for this team. Caroline Clayton Caroline Clayton 5'9" | OH Olathe South | 2025 State KS is a player you need to locate on the court as she can swing from everywhere.
National
Dynasty 16-1
Dynasty was runner-up to Mavs in Power League which gave them a National bid. They were never able to get just over the hump to get an Open bid, with a pair of 9th-place finishes at their disposal. With that being said, they will be a tough out in this division with their heavy ball control and scorers all over the court. Lauren Lopez Lauren Lopez 5'10" | OH Bishop Miege | 2025 State KS and Jenna McClure Jenna McClure 5'8" | OH Blue Valley North | 2025 State KS are capable weapons on the pins. Ella Florez Ella Florez 5'9" | S Mill Valley | 2026 State KS had an all-state season as a freshman at Mill Valley.
Power ‘] 16-1
Power benefited from Mavs moving up and received the second in-region bid in this division with their third-place output during Power League. They are another team that should turn heads as they have open-level talent on their roster. They tried and missed an open bid on a few occasions with a 9th place at Lone Star. Lily Wedman Lily Wedman 5'8" | S Blue Valley West | 2025 State KS is one of the top setters in the country in this age group and will look to spread the ball around to Ella Stowell Ella Stowell 5'10" | MB Olathe West | 2026 State KS , Ashlee Chavez Ashlee Chavez 5'9" | RS St. James | 2025 State KS , Allison Heck Allison Heck 6'0" | MB Blue Valley West | 2025 State KS , and company.
