Once again, we have two teams from opposite ends of the state that earned their way to Chicago. Here they are, from opposite ends of the map, with a few players that will look to turn heads this week and beyond.

KeAloha 171 Nazare', 17 Freedom

From the Valparaiso area comes the lone KeAloha team that qualified for Chicago. Strong volleyball IQs dot this roster, starting with [player_tooltip player_id='260989' first='Ava' last='Holtz'] ('24, 5-9 OH), a primary passing six-rotation outside who has all of the shots, can pass from all three positions consistently and regularly scores points on this squad. [player_tooltip player_id='253549' first='Gwendolyn' last='Clifford'] ('24, 6-0 MB) is an excellent M2 who can muscle past blocks while being a broad-shouldered blocker in her own right. I wouldn't be surprised if she played a little right side in her career, as her defensive instincts are above average. [player_tooltip player_id='365264' first='Madison' last='Dhoore'] ('24, 5-11 RS/MB) is another solid middle option, but could easily play right side at the next level.

Union 15-2 UA, 15 Freedom

Union's home office is located so far south that they play in the Pioneer region, a region usually synonymous with teams from Kentucky. This roster in particular is mostly made of players from Kentucky, but the two from Indiana are the ones on my radar. [player_tooltip player_id='443869' first='Savannah' last='Hooe'] ('27, 5-7 S) is a rising freshman from Silver Creek that is big enough to run a 5-1, and defensive enough to understand how important defending her position is. Emma Merideth ('25, 5-10 RS) comes from perennial volleyball power Floyd Central, who is long and strong. She can put balls away from either pin, but will most likely be on the right pin at the next level.
