– AVC CLE 15 Red
Snow had a terrific freshman season for Ohio power Magnificat last fall as she averaged 3.3 digs per set. She is a stabilizer for this AVC team as she plays with great control from her point of preparation to her first step to pursue the ball. She uses the length of her platform well as she can develop good range in all directions.

– NKYVC 15-1
Frietch has potential to be the best libero in this Ohio class as she is already receiving accolades and mention as a very skilled and impactful floor leader and creator from this position. She has great athleticism and quickness that helps her play much bigger than her 5’6 frame. She pursues the ball effectively with a full range of movement and tools that can create a lot of quality transition opportunities.

An avid and successful beach prospect, Grimes transitions that court sense and movement well to the indoor game as a ball control factor and defensive leader. She has the best length among this group of athletes at 5’10, which extends her ability to cover a lot of court. Additionally, her length and lift off the floor are a huge asset at the service line as she can be lethal with her jump serve.

The keys to Jones’ success as a libero are in her ability to read and react effectively to all types of pace and shots coming off the hitter’s arm and also in her quickness to get to the ball both on her feet and in pursuit to the floor to keep the point alive. She understands angle production well and can deliver consistently when extending outside her midline in serve receive. Jones’ impact could be an x-factor to their run at AAU nationals.

At 5’8, Cugino has a physical frame that allows her to create a lot of range as she can control a lot of the court from her primary left-back position as a libero. She is a key element to this offensive juggernaut of a team as she often gets them in-system in both serve-receive and defensively. Her success and contributions are a big reason this team is tough to defend from pin-to-pin when in-system, which is often when she is on the floor.
