Seton is the defending Ohio Division I state champion and have a lot of pieces in place for a poised effort to repeat. One of those key elements is Jones (*pictured), a veteran DS/L prospect. Seton recently took on Turpin from the ECC emerging victorious with a convincing 3-0 win to start the season behind balanced offense and a big defensive effort from Jones as she picked up a team best 25 digs. Quickly approaching 500 total career digs, Jones is one of four GGCL top-10 defensive stat leaders from 2024 returning this fall.

Jones continues to defend the floor well during club season. She has outstanding first touches producing a lot of two to three-point passes. Jones made a one-arm pancake save on a tough hitter in Tri-State Elite 17 Blue’s first game on Saturday. Jones guards the line well and squares her arms up to make great passes on sound hitters.

For all the attention on some of her teammates, Jones quietly goes in and handles her role well. Jones does a lot of little things that help add up to big things for the Saints such as putting serves on target and making precise passes. Then on serve receive and first contacts, Jones does well hustling to balls then squaring up her body to make precise passes. She communicates well with her teammates. Jones leads the GGCL with 11 aces to go with 21 digs.
