We were super excited to run our first session of the USA GJNC Pre Tourney Showcase in conjunction with the USA Junior Nationals Tournament on Tuesday June 27th. We had some of the best players from all over the country attend from the 13’s through 15’s age groups. Many players stood out to our court coaches and scouts throughout the entire showcase for a variety of reasons. Some players stood out for their dynamic physical skills and some stood out for intangibles like leadership, effort and attitude. Let’s meet a few of the players who earned the honor of Top Performer at the showcase.
Danielle McAllister Danielle McAllister 5'10" | RS Pieper | 2026 State TX [2026] 5-10 Setter (HS: Pieper/Club: STVA/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Danielle is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on my watch list after what I have seen this year and during the showcase. She plays for Pieper High School and also club for the South Texas Volleyball Academy program. Miss McAllister was phenomenal dishing the ball and also showed that she can also hit at a high level. Many of our scouts and court coaches remarked at her awesome skill set. This high flying lefty can swing with immense power on the opposite position. She is someone who can take a good team to great because of everything she offers to the roster. Her hands are soft and the ball comes out of them so smoothly. There is not a set that she cannot replicate over and over. I cannot wait to see her speed up her game by running super fast tempo routes with her middles when she gets older. She is built for the advanced game as she has every tangible and intangible aspect you would want in a setter/leader. Give this kiddo a look and you will not be disappointed. We will be watching her very closely as we update the rankings next month.
Phoenix Fogel [2026] 6-0 Middle (HS: Belton/Club: MAVS KC/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Phoenix is an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Missouri State Rankings, but is on our official watch list for the state. She plays at Belton High School and also plays for the nationally known MAVS KC club program. Miss Fogel played extremely big at the net during the scrimmage portion of the showcase. Her reach over the net proved to be a massive force against some amazing attackers. Her long reach allows her to go and get any set that is thrown her way. She is more than capable of hitting both high tempo sets and quick tempo sets. This is one big reason why we chose her to win this award. Phoenix plays like a seasoned veteran and can run every route in the middle route tree with precision and speed. Her slide approach looks like a senior is running it. She always has the ball on her right shoulder and this allows her to get maximum power. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award from our showcase.
Juliana Guajardo [2026] 5-7 Outside (HS: Pharr-San Juan/Club: Texas Fierce Elite/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Juliana is currently ranked as the 53rd best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays at Pharr-San Juan High School and also for the TX Fierce Elite club program. Juliana can get off of the ground in a hurry. Don’t let her small stature fool you as this kid can fly and drop the hammer with the best of them. She is super athletic and moves on the court with ease. There is not anything that this phenom cannot do on the volleyball court. Her back row play is just as phenomenal as her front row play. She has a lightning quick arm swing that she uses to score at will. I love how comfortable she is using her hands while passing and digging. She could easily be a setter in a pinch if her team ever needed her to. Juliana was born to play this game and it shows in every rally I have seen her play this season. She is the type of player who will for sure play at the next level and help a college roster. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award from our showcase.
