Dallas Skyline 15 Black will be competing in the USA Division of USA Jr Nationals. They are from the North Texas Region and have been competing well in national qualifiers all season long. They earned their bid at the prestigious Lone Star Classic National Qualifier. This team is riddled with some players who are a little under the radar but doing big things and deserve some recognition. Here are just a few of the names to know from their talented squad.

Brooke Starr [2025] 5-7 Setter (HS: Lovejoy/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Brooke is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but has definitely caught our attention with her stats and play this season. She plays volleyball at Lovejoy High School and also plays club for Dallas Skyline. One huge aspect that shines very bright in Miss Starr's play is how well she plays defense in the right back zone. A lot of players just move to their adjusted defensive position and react when the ball comes their way, but not Brooke. It is almost as if she is praying for the ball to come her way. Her head and feet are constantly in go mode as she eagerly anticipates the ball coming her way. By being this ready, she is able to be in the right spot and play the ball well. I love how she plays the game with a lot of fire and celebrates with her teammates when they win the rally. She is real joy to watch play the setter position and we think she deserves some looks from college scouts.

[player_tooltip player_id='483354' first='Aubrey' last='Easterwood'] [2026] 6-1 Middle (HS: John Paul II/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Aubrey is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at John Paul II High School and also for the Dallas Skyline volleyball club program. Miss Easterwood is a very lengthy and dominant middle who is a force to be reckoned with. Opposing squads have to account for where she is on both the offensive and defensive end. She is what I call a “shut down” middle who extends her arms well above and beyond the net to seal it from would be point scorers. Any attacker who is on the other side of the net better be able to adjust in the air and try to hit around her. Swinging directly at her is a big mistake and will likely make you look not so smart. Overpasses also disappear in a hurry when she is at the net. I love how high I think her ceiling is in the position. Her approach allows her to always be in a ready position for the quick set all along the net. I will be watching her very closely during the tourney and you should also.

Olivia Clayton [2026] 5-8 Outside (HS: Rockwall/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)

Olivia is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball for Rockwall High School and also plays club for the Dallas Skyline program. I love when a player is a little undersized but plays just as big as others who may be a little taller. Don't sleep on this kiddo because she lights up the stat-book in a hurry. Her ability to rack up kills from all over the court is astounding. She scores from both the front row and the back row with her long reach and superb arm swing. Her hand contact puts tons of top spin on the ball which makes it very difficult to block and dig well. This also also the ball to be hit on the bottom third of it in order for her to get the great arc necessary to hit over the blocker and still land in bounds in the back row. Her right arm will help to lead this team to greatness in Chicago against some amazing teams from all over the nation.

Right Side [player_tooltip player_id='644458' first='Kylie' last='Rodriguez'] has a cannon that is unleashed often. Libero Avery Gray contributes to this squad's success in multiple ways. Her defense is legit and she has a stealthy short zone serve also. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='756621' first='Ainsley' last='Edgington'] provides the other side of the six two offense that keeps the hitters in system. There are many more stars on this team that we will be watching all tourney long. Stay tuned for more on their journey in Chicago.
