Michael DeLeon | Prep Dig Scout
The six foot four middle blocker from John Paul II high school is leading the nation in hitting efficiency. Currently she has 255 kills on an outstanding .460 hitting percentage. After having seen Aubrey over the last few years have wonderful seasons, this is just a testament to how amazing she is year after year. What makes her special is how she drives hard and fast toward the net to be ready to swing on each rally. She never gives up and has a really high motor to be a target for her setters. In order to be efficient, you really have to know how to move the ball around a block and she does it better than anyone else in the state of Texas. With only 37 hitting errors on the year out of 474 attempts, that should tell you just how good she is at her job. This is nothing new for Miss Easterwood as she has been killing it every year she has been on varsity.

Aubrey is currently ranked as the 72nd best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at John Paul II High School and plays club for the Dallas Skyline volleyball program. Every single time I watch this young lady play, I am amazed at her elite skill set. There are very few dominant middles who can take over games and Miss Easterwood is definitely one of them. If I were an opposing coach playing her team, I would be tracking every rotation she is in because she is a primary weapon. Her setter truly believes in Aubrey’s offensive arsenal and feeds her early and often to stay aggressive against their opposition. The tempo that she runs is pretty fast as most blockers that get matched up with her are late with their timing to try to block her. While attacking the “thirty-one” set, what was truly remarkable is how she was able to hit the ball around the block on both sides of the court with power. In the match I watched, she had to have above a .600 hitting percentage at the very least. I know the Providence commit will do great things at the next level in a few years. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award from us for her play during the tournament.

Please officially welcome Miss Easterwood to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 72nd best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for John Paul II High School and also for the Dallas Skyline volleyball club. We have covered Aubrey extensively since this past club season where she burst onto the scene and solidified herself as a legit middle prospect with her game play. What stood out to us in person was how she drove hard toward the net for every rep no matter if she was going to get the set or not. This kind of attention to her role showed us that she was a very hard worker and also that she understood just how valuable she was to her team. By driving hard to the net each time, she proceeded to hold the opposing middle for just a split second, which allowed her pin hitter to get a split or a one on one situation to score more easily with. As a blocker, she has a solid frame and great strength to battle at the net. I love how she is up in the air quickly to give her setter a nice target to set to. When she attended our showcase in the summer, every single one of our court coaches were thoroughly impressed with her route running and immense power on her attack. We are very proud to have this special young lady listed on our publication. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our State Rankings.
