The 6’0 dual-threat opposite/setter assumes the top position in this recent rankings update for the class of 2025. She has game changing skills with the ability to make an impact in a variety of ways. The lefty gets up off the floor well and can score with power, range, finesse, and will punish the ball on an open net. Her stock increased over the course of the club season and as she is set to lead her SJA team once again this fall, she returns to the high school stage having recently made her college selection to take her game to 2022 NCAA DI national semifinalist San Diego.

Emch is another prospect that is coming off a big club effort that resulted in a college offer and commitment as she has selected DI national power Pitt as her next-level home. She is long and rangy at 6’3 with the ability to play the game well above the net. She has spent time training with the USAV development program, which has paid dividends towards her exposure, skill development, and overall effectiveness. She has a high ceiling and as she is already making a big impact on the court, her rate of progress over the last cycle of high school and club ball is indicative of her potential to be elite. She returns to Crestview for her junior season following averages of 5.2 k/s and an impressive .408 efficiency in 2022.

With 462 total digs for Seton last fall, Codling is the top returning libero in the GGCL from a season ago. At 5’4, she has impressive pursuit and range defensively. She reads the floor well and has good first-step quickness and all the tools to provide quality opportunities even in tough situations. The UCLA commit has a career average of 3.5 digs per set entering her junior season for a Seton squad that has great court balance and should contend well for a league title.

The 6’0 middle was moved into the top 10 due to her improved quality of her skills, versatility, and aggressiveness at the net. She has big elevation and can put some big heat on the ball out of the middle while also showing at times her ability to get up and take big swings at the pins. Defensively, she is one of the best middles in this class in the blocking phase as she moves with good quickness laterally and gets up and over fast. She finished top-five in the GGCL in total blocks and was #6 offensively at 2.6 k/s for DI state champ Ursuline.

Weiseman is one that we’ve watched closely given her effort in 2022 with her previous club before switching in 2023 to a squad loaded with big arms. She assumes the top spot among setters in this class following an impressive club performance highlighted by her fluid and dynamic ability to get to the ball at a high contact point and deliver in all directions with consistency in her body and hand position. At 5’10, she has good athleticism and movement patterns that help her efficiency in pursuing the second tough. She returns to her Monroe team where last season she split time both setting and in leading their offense with her arm as she averaged 3.2 k/s.

Culler has good all-around skills as a six-rotation outside hitter. She breaks into the top 10 in this class given her complete skill set and what she was able to accomplish as one of the top point scorers for her club team throughout a competitive schedule. She has good elevation and arm control to score through the full scope of the court coupled with her ability to use her length well at 5’11 to contribute in the first-touch phases. She led Archbold with 4.8 k/s in 2022 and is just shy of 600 career kills as she enters her third varsity season.
