Continue ReadingSince the last ranking update, we have seen many commits happen in the class of 2024. It is so fun to see the athletes in this class find their future homes. Many of these athletes also were stock risers in the most recent class of 2024 ranking update. It is so fun to see them playing their best volleyball and impressing at such a high level. Here are some of the committed athletes who are stock risers in this update.
Ella is an elite athlete. How she competed this year at the 18 Open level is incredible. She was dominant and only continued to level up her game. She has been ranked 3rd in this class for a while, but with her incredible play this past season, she is being moved up to 1st. Ella brings intensity and passion to the court and finds ways to earn points. She is committed to the University of Michigan, and I cannot wait to see her compete in the Big 10.
Highlights
Emily was playing her best volleyball during the club season. She elevated her game, and seeing her commit to North Dakota State was so exciting. Emily is an athlete who is always working and always supporting her team. She moved up from 19th ranked to 17th in the most recent update. Emily is an athlete who has not met her potential yet – she will only keep improving and impressing, and I can’t wait to see her dominate at the college level.
This Northern Illinois commit moved up one spot from #22 to #21. She is a powerhouse middle with a heavy arm and excellent court awareness. Rylea is competitive and impactful on the court. She brings great energy and intensity to every rotation she plays. She is consistent yet powerful and puts up a massive block.
Olivia has been nothing but impressive recently. She is a high-level blocker and is great at reading opposing setters and reacting quickly to seal the net. Olivia is a great first line of defense, getting great blocks and touches on the ball. She is also very talented on offense and always works to make herself available for every set.
Kelsey will be joining Olivia Neumann Olivia Neumann 6’3″ | MB Xavier | 2024 State WI at UW-Green Bay next year. Kelsey was a part of the Badger High Performance camp and was playing at a very high level. She is so well-rounded and dynamic. Kelsey is the kind of athlete you could put just about anywhere on the court, and she will play well. She is lethal in transition and out-of-system balls and is consistent on serve receive. She jumped from #36 to #33 in the most recent ranking update.
This is ANOTHER UW-Green Bay commit who is playing her best volleyball ever. She is explosive, powerful, and has an incredibly high ceiling. Diane is a very talented middle who has risen several spots from 42nd to 35th in the state. She impresses me whenever I see her play and is a powerhouse athlete.
Dani recently committed to Austin Peay and has enormous potential for success at the college level. She jumped up three spots to 46th in the rankings. Dani has a toolbox of shots and is very athletic. She is willing to take big risks on tough swings and can manufacture points. Dani is also very well-rounded and can play all six rotations. She recently traveled with the Badger Region High Performance team and competed at the USA All-Star Championships.
Highlights
Ella elevates her game every time I see her play. She is a very talented blocker and works hard on every play. Ella can swing high hands and find key tips on offense. She also has a great swing and can sink the ball in the deep corner. She is a leader and energizer on the court. The combination of her great play and her leadership make her a valuable middle. Ella moved up two spots from 50th to 48th in this ranking update.
Malayna is an explosive pin hitter who can manufacture points on the pin. She is talented in the back row as well and can play all six rotations. Malayna can do it all. She takes a massive approach and has a lightning-fast arm swing. She can be relied upon in high-pressure situations. She leads by example and is one of the hardest-working athletes on the court.
Abigail has exploded onto my radar recently. She is a powerhouse pin, and Winona State commit can do some damage when she is on the court. She can bounce the ball over blockers and takes big rips. Her line shot is lethal, and she has a toolbox of shots she can utilize to manufacture points. She is an all-around player who has a lot of potential to continue rising in this class through the next season and in her college career. She jumped from 76th to 49th in the rankings.
Alexandra is an athlete with huge energy on the court. She just recently committed to Army West Point which is an incredible achievement. Alexandra is disciplined on the court and is always building up her team around her. She has great fundamentals and excels in every aspect of her position. She was previously ranked 97th and is now ranked 77th. She impresses me every time I see her play.
Navaeh is another talented libero in this class. She jumped from 64th in the ranking to 61st. She communicates well and takes control of the back row. She is confident and has great ball control. She is dominant during the club and high school seasons and is constantly improving her game. She is scrappy and great in coverage and never misses a beat on the court.
