Without setters, you have no offense. Here are five setters still available from the class of '24 that can be plug-and-play options right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='110514' first='Whitney' last='Scherrer'], 6-2, North Central, Munciana

As the main setter for the Pandas, Whitney was THE setter for the 17-1s and an open-level schedule all season long. She's tall, long, lean, very athletic and locates the ball well. Defense isn't an issue for her, as she defends at an above-average level for her position at both the net and on the floor. Also, well, SHE'S SIX FOOT TWO. I'm surprised that she's still available at this stage of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='142822' first='Meredith' last='Slaton'], 5-7, Scottsburg, Union

As the main setter for the 17-2 squad in southern Indiana, Meredith has fast feet, defends well, high hands to distribute the ball and a relentless work ethic. All of those things are uncoachable---making her the ideal candidate for being part of a 6-2 or running the show on her own at a smaller school in a 5-1. And as a Union kid, her volleyball IQ is better than most.

[player_tooltip player_id='191061' first='Gabby' last='Scheil'], 5-6, Roncalli, Team Indiana

Setting for the 18-1 this past season, Gabby also saw a little time as a defender, making her that much more recruitable at the next level. She's known nothing but winning---Roncalli should have their best year this coming year in quite some time, and her club teams are always top notch. The training is there, the passion is there, the volleyball acuity is there. Look past the size, and you have a kid that's ready to go to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='191062' first='Renee' last='Greving'], 6-1, Huntington North, Summit

A no-nonsense, smooth and athletic setter is what you get from Renee. She gets the job done. Period. No fanfare, no "look at me" attitude. Just putting in the work, steadily getting better and becoming that tall and athletic setter that everyone needs at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='191063' first='Varya' last='Rahoizha'], 5-11, Lake Central, KeAloha

Already running a faster-than-average offense for the 18-1 at KeAloha, Varya is also accustomed to making state title runs, as in this past fall. She has high hands, accurate placement and good feet to get to the ball. Another cut from the same cloth as Renee above, she does the hard work, gets the job done and is extremely consistent and reliable.
