Five New Athletes To The Updated ’25 Rankings

You want a ball on the pin? Here you go, on the pin as requested. Middles! How about a push-one to avoid the block? You got it, sis. Kate is more than capable of putting the ball exactly where you need it as a hitter, AND in a quick tempo so that the block becomes obsolete. The rest is up to you.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='353002' first='Karter' last='Burris'], 5-11 OH, Barr-Reeve, BTown</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From a small club and an even smaller school, Karter is a hammer of a three-rotation pin attacker that knows exactly one speed. She's a full-go, no quit attacker that puts fear in other teams' defenses. To give you an idea of her strength, Miss Burris shows livestock every summer and works on her family's farm daily. How's that for strong and disciplined?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Isabella Brown, 6-1 RS, Fishers, [program_tooltip program_id='431513' first='Munciana' last='Indy']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From the "more regional" version of Munciana, Miss Brown hammers away from the right pin for the one team definitely capable of playing an open schedule. She's also a tough out as a defender; she uses her length and strength to make opposing attackers think twice about going into the block.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='386928' first='Emmy' last='Nasser'], 5-10 OH, Avon, Circle City</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Emmy looks the part of a full-approach outside. She uses all of her frame and strength to max jump on every attack. I like the effort and athleticism she puts into every point, all while seemingly never losing any energy from point one to point twenty five.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='393799' first='Nora' last='Gibson'], 6-2 MB, Floyd Central, KIVA</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From extreme southern Indiana, Nora is a two-sport stud that learned the finer points of the (ahem, better) game from the folks at KIVA. She is an absolute force for Floyd Central; not a lot of over-six-foot size has passed through their halls in recent memory for women's volleyball. Nora can---and should---make a massive difference this fall after a solid year of training at KIVA.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
