We recently released our new and improved class of '24 list, and our positional breakdowns begin with some pin attackers. Here are five you should know from four different clubs that should be able to find a home next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='210180' first='Lilly' last='Tappel'], 5-10 OH, Providence, Union

Lilly is a primary-passing six-rotation outside that has exceptional ball control, makes great decisions in attacking and rarely makes errors. Her clubs team's run in the summer of '22 ended with Miss Tappel being the MVP of the 16 American division. She's also a state champ from this past fall (3A). A no-doubt pass-to-attack outside that comes from winning? Sign me up.

[player_tooltip player_id='110517' first='Marin' last='Sanchez'], 5-10 OH, Andrean, Epic United

From "The Region", Marin is an athletic and explosive six-rotation outside that can bomb away from anywhere. She already owns a state title medal, and will surpass 1000 kills this coming fall. Speaking of her stat line, it reads like a Division 1 athlete: in her three-year high school career, she averages 3 kills per set and 3 digs per set, all while hitting well north of .300. A primary attacker, passer, defender and athlete. What's not to like?

[player_tooltip player_id='143807' first='Makenzie' last='Wagner'], 5-10 RS, Providence, Union

Providence certainly earned their state championship trophy last fall, and could easily do it again in 3A this coming fall. Miss Wagner is the glue that keeps it all together. She's a lefty banger from the right pin, can set if asked to, and defends her position better than most right sides of any size. Her all-around skills should also keep her in matches constantly, and should never have to come out, even at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='110492' first='Scarlett' last='Kimbrell'], 6-0 OH, Franklin Community, Circle City

More of a basketball kid that plays volleyball, Scarlett is a great example of letting your athleticism do the work. Her instincts and athletic acuity are second to none in this class, and she has easily shifted her position from middle to outside. She's strong and fearless too----she'll take extra chances to score more points, and learns by doing. No wonder she's a multi positional talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='110502' first='Brooklyn' last='Edmonds'], 5-9 OH, Rossville, Boiler Juniors

The definition of fiery athlete, Brooklyn plays middle for her high school team, but projects to being a pin attacker at the next level. She's as relentless as she is passionate; there isn't a point that goes by that she doesn't give 100%. And that Boiler Juniors training? She has that to go along with her fast athleticism. This is a smart, multi positional player with a high volleyball IQ and a passion for winning.
