GameChangers at the WI Stock Up Showcase

Some of the top athletes in Wisconsin competed at the event, and it was fun to see players from across the state all in the same gym wearing the same color. Many of these athletes are opponents during the club and high school seasons, but the Stock Up Showcase was two hours of fun, high-level volleyball. Her serve receive was clean, her swings powerful. But what I really loved was how she was a leader on whatever court she was on. She recently made the Badger High Performance team and has been dominant this past club season. Anabelle has a clean touch on the ball and great fundamentals. She has a high volleyball IQ and makes great connections with her hitters. She is disciplined in transition, hungry for the ball, and very competitive. And, wow, does she have a lot of power. Taylor is fearless and aggressive out of the middle and manufactured points. She connected well with her setters, despite never having played with them before. And she jumped out at me again at the Stock Up Showcase. Breanna is a talented pin with a seemingly natural read and timing for blocking. She puts up big swings and an even bigger block. I bet she could successfully play nearly any position on the court. She is crazy talented and works hard on every single play. Her defense is scrappy, and her ball control is nearly perfect. On offense, Eva is explosive and aggressive. She was all smiles on the court and a huge energizer. But don't let that fool you; she was gritty on defense and also played high-level serve receive. Whenever Isabella came up against a big hitter, she stepped up to the plate and made a great play. She was a powerhouse on the pin and was nearly unstoppable. She connected on some shoots that made me stop and go 'woah.' Isabella is an athletic and high-flying pin who can play all six rotations. She excelled on offense and turned some heads with her big swings. She is also a solid defender and is lethal in her pass to attack. Everything she always did well, her talk, her form, her hustle, she has now elevated to the next level. She is confident on serve receive and puts up a great out-of-system ball. She has a high contact point and lightning-fast arm swing. Anna was dominant on the right side at the showcase with her powerhouse swings and impenetrable blocks. What makes her so valuable on the right side is how consistently she sets up her block.
