SubscribeOk – as I wrote my articles, I realized how many states were represented at the Prep Dig x USAV Showcases (37 by my count)! So, I thought, let’s see how many there really were! I apologize if I missed one here. I did my best to write about one athlete from each state represented at the Showcase.
Alaska
Ava Warren – Setter – Inspire Volleyball Club – 2026
Ava is a setter that has a lot of potential. Her form is great, and her court awareness is even better. She has soft hands and a clean finish. Ava moves the ball around very well, keeping all her hitters engaged. She played at a high level throughout the showcase.
Arizona
Victoria Staples – Middle – Zona – 2024
Victoria is a massive middle who takes up a lot of space at the net. She is 6’3″ of raw talent and athleticism. She moves across the net with explosive energy and gets incredibly impressive touches on balls as a blocker. She is a dynamite hitter as well and adds a lot of value on both offense and defense.
Arkansas
Piper Batie – Setter/Right Side – Ozark Juniors – 2026
Piper is a dynamic and talented athlete who can play at a high level as a right-side and a setter. She did a little bit of everything at the showcase, showing just how versatile she is. Piper is powerful yet consistent as a setter and on offense. She has a clean touch on the ball as a setter and moves the ball around well.
California
Ila Rose – Outside Hitter – Bakersfield Volleyball Club – 2026
Ila is an explosive athlete who is gritty on the court. She excelled in 6v6 competition play and was a go-to hitter on her court. Ila is a lefty who can swing on both pins. She also excels in defense and coverage. She focuses on the small details and does all of the little things right to excel as an athlete.
Colorado
Josie Nichols – Outside Hitter – Elevation – 2026
Josie is an athlete that made it into my notes not once but two times. She is a gamer that steps up in scramble plays and excels in the chaos of the sport. Josie has high contact and a quick snap on the ball. Her swings pack a punch, and she really impressed me with her ability to move shots around.
Connecticut
Izzy Eitzmann – Outside Hitter – Northeast Volleyball Club – 2026
Izzy is another gritty athlete that caught my eye at the showcase. She has an insane amount of potential and finds ways to put the ball down when she is in the front row. She is an athlete that transitions quickly to set herself up for success. Izzy is also talented in the back row.
Delaware
Kaitlyn Leberstien – Right Side/Setter – Premier Edge – 2026
Kaitlyn is so versatile on the court. She is very offensively strong and can set as well. Her court awareness is solid and she is very competitive – always looking for her next kill. She is a fun athlete to watch as a setter and on offense. She is well-rounded and athletic and could play successfully in nearly any position.
Florida
Mariyana Cardwell – Right Side – BVA – 2025
Mariyana was absolutely bouncing balls at the showcase. She is a lefty that is explosive in everything she does. She takes a big approach, has consistent contact with the ball, and a lightning-fast arm swing. She is dynamite on offense and manufactures points whenever she is on the court.
Sydney Vancott – Outside Hitter – Boomers – 2024
Sydney is a powerhouse pin hitter. She has a ton of power and a toolbox of shots. At 6’0″, Sydney has a big presence on the court and puts up a massive block. Her potential is nearly limitless. She was a fun athlete to watch go head to head with other top pins that attended the showcase.
Georgia
Kellan Flynn – Libero – A5 – 2025
Kellan is a gritty libero that was all over the court. She never gave up on any ball that came over the net. From her serve receive to her defense to her coverage, Kellan excelled on the court. She was disciplined yet read the court well and got in front of a lot of tough balls. She is a very talented libero who has all the right pieces of her game.
Aaliyah Brown – Middle Blocker – A5 PureVolleyball – 2026
Aaliyah is a powerhouse middle that moves quickly and efficiently across the court. She puts up a very impactful block and gets great touches. She gets in the way of a lot of opposing hitters. On offense, she is engaged, always finds a play to run, and can absolutely pound the ball.
Hawaii
Tai Sorenson – Libero – Aloha State Volleyball Club – 2025
Tai was one of my favorite liberos that I saw play at the showcase. She makes serve receive look easy. Her form is simple, clean, and near perfect. She has a natural leadership on the court and never misses a beat. Her defense is also incredibly high level, and she has a very high volleyball IQ.
Idaho
Lucy Carr – Setter – Riptide Volleyball – 2027
Lucy has a clean touch on the ball and a lot of potential. She has good communication on the court and gives full effort and every ball. Her hands are quick, and she has a nice release. She gets set up well and works to get her feet to each pass that comes her way. She is an athlete on the rise.

– Middle Hitter – Adversity – 2025
Adeline was one of the most impactful middle hitters that attended our showcases. She is a 6’3″ powerhouse athlete who is explosive and athletic. She saw the court so well and was impressive in reading setters. Adeline transitioned quickly and was always ready for a set. She could swing in front of and behind the setter and has a lot of potential.
Eileen Chavez Eileen Chavez 5'10" | S John Hersey | 2024 IL – Setter- MOD – 2024
Eileen is an impressive setter who exploded onto my radar at the showcase. She has great footwork and gets her feet to the ball consistently. Her sets are well-placed even when she is on the run. Eileen’s ball control and jump setting caught my eye throughout the showcase, and she was always pushing herself and those around her to play to their potential.
Indiana
Lydia Stahley – Outside Hitter – Team Indiana Elite 15.1 – 2026
Lydia is an athlete with a large amount of potential. She is explosive, and her hits are lethal. She utilzes many shots and a lot of athleticism and power to earn points. She elevates her game and that of those around her. She has a high contact on the ball. That, paired with her high vertical, means she hits over many blockers.
Iowa
Grace Bohner – Middle Hitter – Iowa Select – 2026
Grace is a well-rounded middle blocker. She seals the net on her block and reads well in transition. She is aggressive with her swings and has great court vision across the net. She is always locked in and ready to go, whether it is on offense or defense. She has naturally great timing as a blocker that caught my eye in the transition and competition drills in the showcase.
Kansas
Jocelyn Heckman – Setter – MAVS KC -2026
Jocelyn is a scrappy setter that really impressed me with her defense and out-of-system play. She always gets her hands on the ball and will run down nearly anything. Even when she is on the move, she puts tempo on the ball and has great placement. Jocelyn does not make a lot of errors and is always working to better the ball.
Nina Mitchell – Middle Hitter – KC Power – 2025
Nina is listed as a middle, but she is versatile enough to play across the net. She has a high contact and a huge vertical. Her speed and athleticism are key in her explosive movement as a blocker and in transition. She is a powerhouse athlete that was an impact player at the showcase.
Kentucky
Madisyn Green – Libero – Union – 2025
Madisyn is a gritty libero who is all over the court. She picks up even the toughest shots and covers a lot of court on defense and serve recieve. Madisyn will fight to get a touch on every ball and is always there to cover her teammates. She is a valuable libero that shows a lot of tenacity and competitiveness in her play.
Louisiana
Rhyan Miciotto – Setter – Cajun Elite – 2025
Rhyan is a high-level setter that impressed me time and time again at the showcase. She brings confidence and control into chaotic and scramble plays. Her placement is very precise, even when she is on the move. Rhyan has great fundamentals but is also not afraid to take risks and move the ball around.
Maryland
Maya Ogbogu – Middle Blocker – Maryland Juniors – 2024
Maya is an athlete that has a lot of shots. She never hits the spot twice and is always keeping opposing defenses on the move. Maya also has a lot of power. She caught my eye several times at the showcase. She is an offensive powerhouse that is an asset every point she is on the court.
Massachusetts
Adriana Aquino – Outside HItter – CMass – 2025
Adriana may not have been the biggest hitter at the showcase, but her hits packed a huge punch. She has a massive vertical and a powerhouse swing. She was ripping balls consistently – in transition, out of serve receive, and up against some massive blocks.
Michigan
Callie Quackenbush – Libero – Five:1 – 2024
Callie is a gritty libero. She is quick on her feet and runs balls down. She has a clean platform and great angles on the ball. Callie really impressed me and other scouts at the showcase. She had a lot of hustle and was always covering the other athletes on the court.
Minnesota
Savy Repinski – Setter – Elevation – 2024
Savy is a setter who exploded onto my radar at the Prep Dig Battle at the Bay. It was fun seeing her play at the showcase against some of the top talent in the country. She plays for a club in Wisconsin but lives in Minnesota. She is a high-level setter that can compete against the best.
Missouri
Addisson Gardner – Libero – MAVS 816 – 2025
Addisson was another libero who impressed from start to finish at the showcase. She was fundamentally very talented. Her movement was quick and explosive across the court. She played well anywhere she was on the court and was great in out-of-system situations.
Nebraska
Kathryn Gaughen – Setter – Premier – 2024
Kathryn is a setter who ran the show at the showcase. She moved the ball around with finesse and ease. Kathryn made great connections with every hitter she worked with. She fed great sets to her hitters and kept every hitter engaged and working. She is a very talented setter to watch in this class.
New Jersey
Abby Kim – Outside Hitter – Sideout Sports – 2026
Abby is a versatile pin hitter. She was impactful on both pins and utilized every set she was given to impress. From warm-ups through the final competition drill, Abby was powerful and consistent. She mixed up her shots and was dynamic on offense and defense.
New Mexico
Kelsey Heffner – Middle Hitter – ARVC – 2025
Kesley is a middle with near-infinite potential. She is a 6’3″ beast of a middle. She works to get a block up on every swing across the net. She reads opposing setters well. What makes her so valuable is she finds a way to be available on offense no matter where she is on the court.
New York
Izzy Eitzmann – Outside Hitter – Northeast Thunder – 2026
Izzy is an impact pin hitter who is versatile and disciplined. She played tough and competitively throughout the event. I really liked her in transition and out-of-system plays. She made great decisions and mixed up her shots.
Ohio
Kennedy Ostendorf – Setter – Ohio Premier Volleyball Club – 2026
For an athlete as young as she is, Kennedy is very smart and plays at a high level. She has a consistent jump set and pushes the ball pin to pin with seeming ease. She is athletic and gritty in her play, making even tough passes work and bettering the ball for her hitters.
Oklahoma
Stella Wishon – Outside Hitter – Oklahoma Charge – 2027
Stella is a 6’2″ pin hitter who is an athlete to have on your radar. She was in the youngest class that could play in the showcase and yet had a huge impact. She mixed up her swings and utilized every set she was given. She even played out of the middle a bit as well. Stella is athletic and powerful with a high contact on the ball.
Oregon
Kiana Johnson – Libero – Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy -2026
Kiana stood out to me as a leader on the court. She was talking to everyone, having fun, and staying energized. Her communication, paired with a clean platform and great court awareness, made her an impact libero at the showcase.
Pennsylvania
Brynn Cornibe – Middle HItter – Revolution Volleyball Club of Pittsburgh – 2026
Brynn is a maximum-effort kind of athlete – a huge asset as a middle. She works to get a block up on every ball and transitions well to make herself available as an option for her setters. Brynn will be a fun middle to watch as she continues to gain experience on the court.
South Carolina
Ariel Rieck – Setter – Low Country – 2026
Ariel was a setter who absolutely made my notes app. One thing that stood out to me was how balanced she always was when she contacted the ball. This made her sets consistent and clean. She has great form and a lot of power to push the ball even when she was on the move.
Tennessee
Hana Suzuki – Setter – A5 Chattanooga – 2025
Hana was an athlete that really impressed me throughout the second showcase. She is dynamic on the court and could play several positions. As a setter, she is talented, smart, and gritty. She can also swing on the right side and plays scrappy on defense. Hana is very well-rounded and added value every time she stepped on the court.
Texas
Allie Hudgins – Outside Hitter – Austin Performance – 2027
Allie’s play was simply incredible. She is 6’4″ of pure athletic talent. She was absolutely ripping balls with great timing and a ton of power. Allie never missed a beat in transition and put up a massive block as well. She was impressive from start to finish.

– Outside Hiter – Austin Juniors – 2025
Zaniah is a powerhouse pin with a high volleyball IQ and a toolbox of shots – a dangerous combination. Zaniah knows how to earn points and is very impactful on the court. She has a clean contact and can take big, momentum-changing rips on the ball.
Emmarie McFarland – Outside Hitter – AVA – 2025
Emmarie’s versatility stood out to me at the showcase. She can play well on either pin and is consistent yet powerful. She is great in transition and out-of-system balls. Emmarie has a high contact and a big snap on the ball. She is an impact player and adjusts well to off sets.
Utah
Alexa Warner – Outside Hitter – Club V – 2026
Alexa has great ball control and court vision. She could sink a shot deep corner then finesse a tip right over the block. She is a smart and savvy pin hitter that did not make a lot of errors while also knowing how to put the ball down. Alexa can utilize any set sent her way and finds a way to put the ball on the ground.
Virginia
Bridgette Templeton – Libero – VA Juniors – 2025
Bridgette has clean, simple form and moves quickly to the ball. She is very relaxed in the backcourt and stays balanced so she can move explosively. Her platform is consistent, and her angles are precise. She has great ball control and was impressive at the showcase.
Washington
Reagan Frazier – Middle Hitter – Excel – 2026
Middles have an incredibly tough job to do, but Reagan made it look natural. She was aggressive and not afraid to take risks. Her blocking and offense were both high-level, and she was always ready for a set.
Wisconsin
Kyra Pulda – Middle Hitter – Milwaukee Sting – 2024
Kyra had a huge presence at the showcase. She was ripping balls and aggressive at the net. A few athletes made the mistake of overpassing near her – and she sent it right back with a ton of firepower. Kyra also puts up a massive block that stopped a lot of hitters in their tracks.
