[player_tooltip player_id='348445' first='Althea' last='Morris'] | 2024 | S | SCVC
This 5-1 setter, [player_tooltip player_id='348445' first='Althea' last='Morris'], is great at keeping her hitters off the net. Even when she sets from on or off the net. When she is off, Morris will not hesitate to find the middle hitter. Additionally, during an out of system rally, she continues to push the tempo to her outside hitter. Also keep watching her for her great defense and control of her body.

[player_tooltip player_id='490871' first='Taylor' last='Walsh'] | 2024 | MB | Momentous
[player_tooltip player_id='490871' first='Taylor' last='Walsh'] is an athlete that will stay involved in the play just a little bit longer. This way she catches anything she can when a team is napping. Like interest in a savings account, that extra effort will occasionally get an unexpected point or two. Specifically, when making a block move to an antenna she keeps an eye on the ball long after it's past. On the other side of the game, Walsh gets on top of the ball and is mostly a straight ahead or wrist away attacker.

Rachel Moglia | 2024 | MB | SCVC
Playing with an excellent volleyball IQ, like Rachel Moglia, is always interesting to watch. Almost like a card counter in Vegas, she seems to know when it is better to go make a play or hold back to allow teammates to do what they do. Specifically, she may peel off the net and play for a tip rather than running across the net to try to close a block. Being in the right place at the right time is an ability the Moglia seems to just simply have.

Amanda Seager | 2024 | OH | WAVE
Count on Amanda Seager to have the same, if not very close to the same, approach each time she goes to hit an outside set. Where Seager stands out is how she moves her body while in the air. Not only an effective use of torque, but also her open hand and use of her wrist to move the ball around. She stays open to hit the cross and rotates her body to slam a ball between middle back and right back.

Bryn Shankle | 2024 | MB | Mizuno Long Beach
A simple piking motion, like one that Bryn Shankle can repeat, is such a classic and refreshing way to watch an athlete block. She assures she is getting her arms across and allows for some last second timing adjustments. She has an active mind that reacts to most everything going on in the court. This trait will certainly enable Shankle to keep developing and growing.

[player_tooltip player_id='186815' first='Madison' last='Triplett'] | 2024 | OH | COAST
[player_tooltip player_id='186815' first='Madison' last='Triplett'] is as close to a complete player as most athletes playing. Her approach is fast and she hangs just enough in the air to decide to hit hard to hit offspeed. She is an active defender ready to move at the last second. Her shuffle footwork and holding of her platform during serve receive is excellent. Add in a flat jump float serve and continue to expect Triplett to have the ability to carry a team.
