We have quite a bit of commitment news on both sides of the state lines in this edition of our tidbits. Let's see who is going where.

Iowa State came and snatched up a couple of big-time players on both sides of the state line. In Kansas, [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']' last='']'] Pin and 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='153937' first='Alea' last='Goolsby'] announced her pledge on social media. The all-state performer from Overland Park's St. Thomas Aquinas has played up for years and will be a good fit and reminds me of current Cyclone pin Maya Ducksworth. This will be the third [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']' last='']'] commit in recent years joining [player_tooltip player_id='119708' first='Rachel' last='Van Gorp'] and current Iowa State libero Brooke Stonestreet.

Joining Gooslby will be [program_tooltip program_id='428799' first='Rockwood' last='Thunder'] front-row player [player_tooltip player_id='150050' first='Shae' last='Pearson'], who most recently played on their 17 Elite team. Pearson has the skill set to play on the pins or in the middle and has displayed an elite level of athleticism and explosion. At 6'2", she is a player who can make an impact at the next level.

Staying in the St. Louis area and with Rockwood, Marquette University got a pledge from libero/defensive specialist [player_tooltip player_id='174285' first='Avery' last='Helms']. This most recent season she was a member of the 16 Elite team that finished top 15 in the National division at GJNC. The 2025 defender is a top-notch player and should be a good fit for a program that has been very successful over the last decade.

[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']' last=''] to Rockwood to Rockwood, so we may as well go back to [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']' last=''] for the commitment of [player_tooltip player_id='495628' first='Tatum' last='Tindall']. The 2024 Manhattan, KS native will stay home to compete for Kansas State University and their nice new facility. Tindall has the ability to play on the right pin or in the middle.

Mavs KC's Brooklyn Hatton is joining another area product by heading to the desert. Hatton recently made her pledge to the Arizona Wildcats. The libero is amongst one of the top in the city and also has beach experience.

Blue Valley West and [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']' last='']'] setter [player_tooltip player_id='173372' first='Lily' last='Wedman'] made her plans known. She will be heading south to ride the Wave...the Green Wave that is, choosing Tulane. Her game speaks for itself as she is smooth on the court. While we are still in the [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']' last=''] camp, [player_tooltip player_id='119812' first='Zoe' last='McDonald'] will be heading to Indiana and joining the Butler Volleyball program.
