Top Middles and Rights at the Iowa Stock Up Showcase

<p>These middles and right-side hitters were so impressive today. Every one of them was good and noteworthy. (Photo - Rob Howe/PrepDig.com) </figcaption></figure>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='251680' first='Kaylee' last='Koudelka']</h2>   <p>Koudelka is a 5'9" middle blocker from North Polk High School's class of 2024. Koudelka has a tremendous vertical and a long reach which helps her to be a great middle blocker. She can hit on the outside and in the middle and is a very effective athlete in that position. Sales is a solid middle with a lot of power to her shots from the net. She has a tough block and can beat taller middles with her vertical and quick hits with force before they can set up to block her. She also has quick reflexes and can get a blocked ball dug into the air if needed.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Hannah Hansen</h2>   <p>Hansen is a 5'6" right-side hitter from Norwalk High School's class of 2025. This athlete can jump! She gets off the ground and pounds it with speed. She is very athletic and has quick reflexes that hold her in good stead while trying to beat a block or dig up a ball that has gone wrong. Groeteke's blocks are concrete and very hard to hit through. She has an excellent vertical, long arms, and is very hard to defend or beat offensively. She gets up on top of the ball and can hit at a ridiculous angle for a kill. She is smart about the game and uses her skills to gain an advantage. Hanrahan jumps very well. She has a great reach and can play against taller middles and can beat them. Her speed and athleticism are how she does that. She beats them to the ball and then she catches them flat-footed and unable to deal with her moves. She seemed so relaxed in there because she is confident in her and her team's ability to win. McCoy has a great reach, long arms, and hits very hard when she does. She is difficult to defend since she can jump so high and gets on top of the ball to gain control. She is very court aware so she knows where her opponents are across the net and can put the ball where she wants to with that level of control. Edgington has a great vertical, precise hitting, and is a very powerful athlete. She is ready to block, hit, or dig and moves very quickly. She gets the job done spectacularly and I truly enjoyed watching her play at the showcase.</p>   <p></p>
